It's known that at least 25 gold records were given out to the band members (5 each) that played on the album. This particular version is presented to Atlantic Records in general. The golden vinyl record in this particular frame is though Mötley Crüe's 'Girls, Girls, Girls'.

It was rumored that Brett lost this item when he didn't pay the rent at the location where the discs were stored, but that rumor was recently dispelled by Brett. However, he confirmed that these "mother discs" are property of Epitaph Records.
