Similar stealth gameplay, but with infinitely worse AI but much, much better in the story/character department.

No, I haven't. My best friend raves about it and it's definitely one that I will play when I get a desktop (or revert back to Windows - from Linux - on my laptop).

Scored Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition for something like $50NZ - includes the 4 DLC on disc. Thought that was a pretty good deal. Shelled out for Kingdoms of Amalur: The Reckoning as well since I had all but given up on the search for some new clothes to wear to work.

Seriously, I've been waiting years and years and years for this game to be released.

These days I also play a "dungeon crawler" indie RPG called  Legend of Grimrock.

I'll weigh in on this. Like I mentioned earlier, I've been patiently waiting for this game to be made and released. I've been playing the Diablo series since the first release, so part of me is going to like the game simply because of that.
That being said, I also participated in the beta testing, and actually loved the game. I thought that the changes were refreshing and helpful. As far as the skill tree being eliminated as well as the ability to allocate level-up points, I was a little disappointed. But its an entirely new game, so I think that aspects of the game should evolve.
All in all I'm pretty jacked up about the release, and will be picking up my copy tomorrow night!

I've got the Trials demo on my Xbox. It was fun. The full game looks way better, of course.

Groomitis, now that it's been out for a week, what do you think?

I just finished Max Payne 3 and it's easily one of the best 3rd person shooters i've ever played and the writing is among the best you'll ever see in a video game.  The multiplayer is also quite fun.
