We need a thread to post good news. Could be anything, as long as it's good news and it makes you happy.
Let's get this started....
Today I (finally) picked up my new car. I upgraded from a crappy 1996 Renault (a French car brand for you non-Euros) to a 2007 Volvo C30 with very little mileage. Me = very happy :)
Also, this week there was a second round of layoffs in 6 months at the company I work for. So having "survived" yet another round also makes me happy..... with mixed feelings, though, as yet another 2 of my direct colleagues are nominated for termination.

Nice, congrats on both:) On the other hand I'm all day at job (optician store) while all are on holiday, almost none comes in... So I'm online and lazy in this site almost all day, breaking any previous record i guess, but then the interesting idea for this topic came:P.

I'm happy because you guys are all happy. Nice to read happy thoughts. I'm surrounded by complaining people all day. Even I complain most of the time. Yes Renault are crappy cars, especially "Laguna's".

Why would we be hatin'? It's a great album. It's about 4 in the morning and I'm not that tired. I guess that's quite a happy thought. Also, it's a Bank Holiday weekend.

I didn't really think there was any good news for me right now, but looking at this topic makes me sort of happy and to realize that nothing's bad. I started school today, first year of highschool, and that's good news for me because I am a complete nerd and I like having work to do as long as there isn't too much work, and I get to see some friends that I haven't seen in years because most of my friends went to different schools in grade 7 and 8, but sadly some of them have turned into arrogant dicks, trendy so called "cool people", and jocks, but whatever. The bad thing about school starting is not being able to stay up after 4 in the morning and wake up at 2, but its still good. There's my somewhat good news.
