I don't know if it will be the best, but I'm really looking forward to "Avalon" for reasons unknown. hope the word "avalon" is harmonized upon-- I hope, I hope, I hope. :D

Isn't it a bit premature to create this thread considering that we've only heard 3 of the songs and only 1 of them a studio version?

-I went with 'Won't Somebody'.. The '30 Years Live' recording of it is just awesome!! TRS & TDiS come both second just after. TDiS could actually be a b-side, just like 'Lose As Directed'....

im going resist-stance. TDiS is honestly my least favorite Br song, it dosnt really have the energy that the others do, i listened to it a few times to try and get myself into the new song but i really can't get behind it. That being said, TRS was utterly amazing, blew me out of the water. great song. i cant wait to hear the studio version.

I like all of them so far. My favorite is still Resist-stance but I cant stop listening to The Devil in Stitches so it could change. Ive always liked the acoustic version of Wont Somebody and the electric version is good too but its not as new so I would put it third. I cant wait until September to hear the rest it seems like its going to be a pretty good album.

Well, if you had read the initial post of the thread, you'd know that this thread is to see which of the 3 songs we've heard so far is the most favoured.

Normally I'm not a sucker for fast songs, but in this case I think both Brett songs could have benefitted from a slightly faster tempo.

I see... I assumed that the thread title would accurately reflect what the thread was about, but whatever.

Well, yeah, that's what I thought at first, but then I read the thread. I can see where the confusion lies.

To call the thread What's Your Favourite Song, Out of the Three We've Heard, From Dissent of Man? would be a bit long winded.

1. Won't Somebody - Bit poppy, but has that great Bad Religion/Brett feel to it... The chorus is awesome! 2. The Devil in Stitches - At first I thought "another Honest Goodbye", but now I really like it. Different, but good. 3. The Resist Stance - I like it, but it doesn't give me chills and I haven't had a desire to play it over and over and over again, unlike the two other songs.

I'd always wanted to hear an electric version of Won't Somebody but by the time I actually heard it it paled in comparison to The Resist Stance, probably thanks to at least partially by how The Resist Stance was an actual new song. Devil In Stitches is a pretty solid song, but not a really great song. If this is the Honest Goodbye or Broken of The Dissent Of Man then this album is probably going to rival The Process Of Belief and surpass New Maps Of Hell for me. It'll be interesting to hear what The Resist Stance sounds like if the production is anything like that of Devil In Stitches.
So, yeah, I voted for The Resist Stance.
