You guys would certainly fit in with all the Grand Rapids, MI hipsters who love their craft beer bars.

Possibly, since I lived there for 4.5 years and would move back in a heartbeat. :P

I love living in CA. Away from all the midwest hipsters. But SoCal hipsters can be quite irritating.

Been buying canned micros for the pool lately. Tallgrass out of Manhattan, KS does quite a nice job with their 8 bit Pale and Velvet Rooster Trippel. Honorable mention to Miller High Life tall boys.

While I was in Austria I tried many beers that were new to me... But only one of them was good enough to make me remember the brand: Gösser. I think it was Gösser Gold to be more specific.

Beer!

I'm no pro, and I could possibly bluff my way through about 30 secs of "educated" beer talk, but here are some favorites:

1. Leinenkugel 1888 Bock
2. Celebrator
3. Smuttynose Star Island Single
4. King Cobra (Everyone's gotta have a garbage '40 on their list...right? Right guys? *crickets*)
5. Troegenator Double Bock
6. Old Chub
7. Stone Levitation Ale
8. Stone Ruination IPA
9. Blue Moon
10. Allagash White

Although this might be the best beer i've ever had;  http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/15051/38192 But apparently you can only get it in denmark.

Here's a fine Finnish beer, that seems to be getting good reviews on beeradvocate: Huvila ESB.

I'd love to try that, but I actually live in a pretty lousy location when it comes to trying interesting beers-- a friend of mine used to live in Charleston, South Carolina, and they had a beer exchange-- it was heavenly. So many interesting beers. In my area, the selection is pretty lame.
