Jay: My buddy is a huge GWAR fan. He says they want to keep the band going forever. They'll just keep replacing members as they either die or quit. How would you feel if BR took that route? At this point, it would be pretty hard to replace any of you. Thanks.

Not trying to answer on Jay's behalf, but there's no way in hell they could pull that off. One thing that makes BR great is that they've managed to stay together with so few changes in the lineup, and as you said it would be damn hard to replace Jay, Hetson or Graffin now (not that I've got anything against Baker or Brooks, hah). There are classic (yet younger-than-BR) punk and hardcore bands that keep touring with only one or two original members and most of the time it's kinda hard to take them seriously. Some examples I've witnessed live are Blood For Blood, Cro-Mags, Agnostic Front and Sheer Terror, although the last one has always been a one man show so it didn't matter that much.

edit: And before someone yells that BR is touring with only two original members: GTFO, you should've gotten the point.

Needs a sense of relevance or something to rebel against.

i am sure he has a few, but i know he has no "written" solo for along the way... its always fun to have a song where you can just do what you want.
I see what you did there .

Who is this? Maybe we can fix that.

Jay,
How often do you guys encounter fans at shows who've been listening since the early days?

what do you think of these poll results (as of 5:00 PM EST)for best guitar album of 1988?

Kudos to Otto for the link find. and all of us BRPage voters for participating in what will go down as the fairest and most accurate of polls to ever be conducted.
