Edit: according to the back of the CD, the second part of the tracklist is from a 1997 show in Karlsruhe. I think it was Jay (but it could also have been Greg G) who last year referred to having played there before... but the shows archive didn't contain any Karlsruhe shows (prior to 2011 that is). I always thought that when people talked about the NS radio show it was about that performance of about 15 songs they did in Seatle (I think?) and they ask some girl where she's from and she says "from here" and they say "from the studio!" and laugh??

I've always wanted to know more about this recording. IIRC it's fantastic quality from the NS era (Obviously...) but I remember noticing at one point a certain song got played twice (Not Henchman, possibly Fuck Armageddon?) so I've thought it might be more than just one recording lumped in together.
It's been years since I heard it, but I think at one point Jay leaves to go to the men's room and somebody suggests that they all cheer when he comes back. I thought that was pretty funny. Also, my recollection is Graffin says something like "Are we not allowed to swear? Shit. -I-uh-Fuck!". I need to find it again, sure I've got it (audio) on a burned DVD-R somewhere. |
