Also, can you name some producers that you haven't worked with who you'd like to, or just some whose work you respect?

other than brett? i'd probably say andy wallace, and ric ocasek.
i would have loved to work with gus dudgeon or george martin... would be kinda cool to do something with butch vig or trent reznor. i just don't think our styles would really line up.

Are there any songs that looking back you wish sounded different or had a different feel ?

Jay, looking forward, are there any certain speeds, sounds, or styles you'd like to use on a new album?

Jay,
As a SoCal transplant trapped in KC (circumstances of which I have 'no control', as my wife is to blame), I was wondering what your favorite domestic city (outside of SoCal) to play in is? Least favorite (besides KC...aside from 20-30 faithful, the others are idiots)?

My wife will send the $.25 since it's her fault I have to fly to Denver to watch a show where ppl are punk savvy to watch you guys.

Hey Jay, do you ever think about how your songs and your bass must have been present through so many monumental moments in strangers' lives? Just the other day I read a youtube comment from a user saying the resist stance had been blaring in their car when they were hit by some idiot - could well have ended up being the theme song to their final moments...

brooks... even though he has never grown it out, he gets a 5 o'clock shadow at 10am. that being said, since he never grows it out the answer is brett. then probably hetson... then me / graffin tie, then baker (who at his best can get a "snoopy's cousin spike from needles").

that's really tough, almost every city has something great about it, whether it's the people or the food or even just a cool guitar shop or vintage store. i guess a favorite to play would be vegas, but only because it has a little bit of everything.
least favorite? no such thing. but we've had a pretty tough go in miami...

Jay dude

Do you remember Jason Disposition and meeting him by the buses before playing the Kool Haus in Toronto for the Process Of Belief tour and there was a weird smiling kid with him from Montreal who through the whole 30mins the chat lasted only asked you one question, and that question was 'What do you think of The Gray Race I mean the song I think it would be pretty cool live' and you said 'yeah I like it it's fast' and then and here's my question out of all of this lol then few tours later you played it in Montreal and that kid always wondered from there on....

Had you played it cause of that kid's question ?

:P
