That sucks. I've now disabled that option.
Thanks for the investigation!

It should have been fixed already... and for me it indeed works.

From which page are you trying to log out (e.g. from the homepage or the forum)? If in the forum, do you use the logout link on the left or the one in the top right corner? Which URL do you see when you move your mouse over the logout link? What exactly happens when you click the link (e.g. are you redirected to another page perhaps)? Please answer that!! (sorry, just being sarcastic)

I'm sorry, didn't mean to sound like a dick.
The top right logout button works indeed. I didn't know it was there. But it's not present on the home page. The left one always redirects me to the home page. I can't tell you the link right now because I'm on the road.

The font size has been defaulting to whatever this is both yesterday and today.

As for logging out, I almost never do, but when I tried my normal way (from the homepage), it just reloads the homepage and keeps me logged in. The link says www.thebrpage.net/forum/log_off_user.asp

Edit: Now that's bizarre. In the box where you compose the post, and in the preview, the font is gigantic. Now that I actually posted it, it looks normal. Here in the edit screen, it is back to massive again.

Ok, please try again. Don't forget to refresh first, of course :)

I think I got the font size issue fixed now.

I see larger font size when quoting or editing as well, but I don't mind.  Might result in less typos, and make it easier to drink and type :)

It seems I can now use commands like ctrl+I for italic or ctrl+b for bold.  I don't think I could do that before.

Yay! It works!

Thank you, Marty!

edit: I can't believe it. I wrote that post, clicked "Logout" and, same as before, I was redirected to the home page without being logged out.

I'm liking the new software so far! Does it include the multiple quote feature? I'd like that one to be enabled, if possible.

I think the Set As Answer feature, if handled carefully, could be useful, not only for Ask Jay threads, as you mentioned, but also for typical threads started to ask a specific question, which will people use as a perfect excuse to ramble. If after a few messages comes the answer the thread author was looking for, then it will be useful for the whole community to have it at hand right below the first message.

Also, I'm not sure I understand the posts/thanks system. How many points does a simple post get you and how many points will a Thanks reward you? Can anyone give infinite Thanks??

*Thanks* in advance for your reply. OK, make that two, when I actually click on Thanks on your reply post :p

Sorry, no such feature (yet?).

I think the amount of new threads per year that involve questions that require an actual answer or resolution can be counted on one finger :s

That's configurable. Currently it's like this:
- New topic: 2 points
- New reply: 1 point
- Answer/resolution: 5 points (disabled)
- Thanked: 5 points

No, I was asking about Thanks'ing in general, not just the same post. I think people should be able to give limited Thanks, so they will use them wisely.

Haha, maybe you're right... it would have been useful in 2008/2009 - The N00b Years - ... back when n1ckb0n3z was a a capital N n00b... ahhhh, those were the days...
