So we've all had over a month to listen to Age of Unreason and digest it. What are your favorite songs off of it?

For me: Do the Paranoid Style, The Approach, Lose Your Head, End of History, Age of Unreason, Candidate, Old Regime and What Tomorrow Brings.

I´ve thought about that days ago.

I concluded:
End of history
Faces of grief
Chaos from within
What tomorrow brings
Age of unreason
Profane rights of man

If i must choose one it´d be Chaos from Within

My favorite is most likely Paranoid Style. I really love all the songs equally except for Downfall. It sticks out way too much. I think TKAAR and PRoM are way superior to Downfall

I am really digging the 3-song sequence of Candidate- Faces of Grief- Old Regime.

Similarly I think the 3 opening songs Chaos-My Sanity- Paranoid flow nicely.

On the other hand after many listens I think the record ends kind of weak with Downfall-Since When- What Tomorrow Brings. The latter two are ok but average songs, Downfall is just plain not good IMO.

As far as "favorite song" I'd say a tie between Candidate and Paranoid Style.

Surprisingly, I've actually done better with this album than True North.

I really can't decide. All I know is that Falldown is my least favourite, the two bonus songs included, and even that one is okay.

I guess my favourites are - in no particular order,

My Sanity, Do the Paranoid Style, The Approach, Chaos From Within, TKAAR, Candidate, The Profane Rights of Man, Old Regime.

Since Now didn't make the cut 'cuz it should have been longer.

Definitely was more stoked on Age of Unreason for a lot longer than True North. I still scoff at listening to any other album right now because I'm still enjoying AoU so much.

At first listen I wasn't sure at all. But after 10-15 listen, you begin to realize that this album is filled with gems. Age of Unreason, The Approach, Old Regime, My Sanity, End of History, Candidate, What Tomorrow Brings. I'm also a rare fan of Lose Your Head. Since Now has one of the best punchy chorus in the album too. Best album since TPOB in my opinon.

I'd agree. I have a very mixed opinion on Lose Your Head because lyrically I think it's among the strongest tracks, but I find it maybe the blandest musically.

AOU is a friggin' great album.

After few more listens few changes

Favorites in no particular order:
Chaos from Within
Do The Paranoid Style
The Approach
End of History
Age of Unreason
Old Regime
Candidate

Okay songs:
My Sanity
Faces of Grief
The Profane Rights of Man
What Tomorrow Brings

Do not like/skip
Lose Your Head ( weak chorus, though very good lyrics and bridge)
Big Black Dog (recycled)
Downfall (boring verse)
Since When (unfinished)
The Kids are Alt Right (boring)

This is basically exactly my opinion. I might put My Sanity in the top category

My Sanity actually has a good chorus, and it again, it works better as a non-BR song. I mean, that's just my opinion, but I'm going to keep re-iterating for the sake of forum posts and to annoy people, but I really feel like both Greg and Brett have out-grown Bad Religion as the "hardcore melodic punk" band. I'd much rather hear the songs in stripped down versions.

And here's my new Age of Unreason cover:
