Fire Note Says: Bad Relgion's style of punk never gets old!
Album Review:
Bad Religion have always been the running long staple in the punk rock community and The Dissent Of Man once again tells you why. The group's 15th record represents everything they have ever stood for over the years and contains just about every song structure and style the band has previously released. You get the hard driving, in your face attack, on album opener "The Day That The Earth Stalled" that runs 1:27 and other songs like "Where The Fun Is", that has the catchy rhythms of their early 90's work. The band also goes down some new paths here, as "The Resist Stance" has a scorching big rock intro, while other songs admittedly took Brett Gurewitz out of his comfort zone. Overall, The Dissent Of Man is all Bad Religion and if you have been on board before, you will like what you hear now, as their sound is their sound and their relevance continues to ring true, as it cranks out of your speakers!
Key Tracks: "The Resist Stance", "Cyanide", "Where The Fun Is"
