Hahaha, that's pretty awesome. Will you play other songs off the record than just Heroes & Martyrs in South America?

you're right badboy, i didn't say it then. i will say it now though. brett wrote the song. he posted the lyrics, greg sang the first half of the first verse in the second verse, after waiting one pass too many, so he rushed the 2nd half... it was the first time we'd ever played it live... i missed almost every verse, i was hanging on by a thread!

Well, Jay said that Brett wrote them - that's good enough for me.

the lyrics sound like they come from greg, not very "brettish". so its strange, if brett knows them better than greg. but i guess that happens, when you put the song at the end of a show.

Just curious, what DID Greg sing?
BTW, Jay, you guys are not gonna stop after this album, are you? Please say you won't.

The fact that jay and brett post on fan sites is pretty cool. Not many members of other bands do that too often.

Jau, Brett seldom posts, when he does, it's mostly as the Legendary Starbolt/Starbolt or just Brett. Jay posts relatively often or has, at least. He likes to choose the most obscure countries and post as jayb/a variant or, if he had already posted before, no name or something totally unintelligible.
AFAIK, Greg/Hetson/Brian/Brooks never post here.

yep, i think greg forgot words, or didnt match up with the speed or whatever, its not the first time he would do this, but he gets away with it, cause most people just think, they couldnt understand it cause its so fast.

Ah, sorry, I didn't notice that Brett posted those earlier or I would've put them up. (I also didn't see Jay's response.) I was trying not to read the lyrics (I failed), so I guess I skipped those posts.

Yeah...but if you read along while listening to the song, some lines (especially in the second verse) don't sound AT ALL like what Brett posted. I'm wondering if maybe Greg forgot/fudged the words, since it is only their second time playing it live. That would throw people off.

I noticed it was The Legendary Starbolt who posted the lyrics and thought it was Brett, and even moreso when I saw that someone named "jab" who refused to use capital letters acknowledged the comment.
I just couldn't understand why everyone else kept posting their opinions on what the lyrics would be.

the strange thing is, people were still only close, even after the first time brett posted the lyrics, but somehow some people dont know who brett / starbolt is, which made it funny.
