Second of all, out of $15 bucks, BR probably gets about $2 of it. Maybe a little more considering Brett owns the label, but not by much. The store that sells the album takes the $15, probably gives $13 to the distributor who shipped the CD, they give about $10 to the record company, and then they give a fraction of that each to the band members, and the producer (previously Brett or the entire band, but this time Joe Barresi), and the engineer. So I'll bet Graffin gets about a dollar from a single CD sale, if not less. Brett might get a little more for being Epitaph's owner and whatever.

Not that it justifies downloading an illegal copy of the album but just so people don't get all righteous on me, I have pre-ordered the CD a long time ago. Guess I lack patience... at least when it comes to BR.

I like what I stole a lot. It's absolutely amazing.

I limited myself to only stealing "52 Seconds" "Germs of Perfection" and "New Dark Ages." I resisted from stealing the rest, but waiting till July 10th is proving to be difficult.

The album is definitely solid. It really isn't one of my favorites though. There is a lot of classic BR moments though and I'm trying to decide if thats a great thing or an okay thing (obviously not a bad thing)

Jay and Brooks are about as good as I've heard them. I almost think that Bretts production values/ideals are a little too overpowering on this disk. The album is very modern rock in certain parts (not throughout songs, just moments)

It almost feels like this is more of a Brett CD to be honest. Could be wrong. But it has a more Brett feel to it, and I always identified w/Greg more.

I don't know. My personal favourites are Against the Grain and Process of Belief.I think they're at the top of their game now.

Maybe if you ask them they will say "see,it's only entertainment" there is no "man with a mission" and no deeper meaning but thats what makes them more interesting than many other really commercial bands who they use music marketing/industry in order to be important in other peoples eyes,cause they are prety or handsome, playing only for the fame and money....except of playing for the fun they have nothing else to show those bands,nothing to give to the people like you and me. I dont want to say names anyway. And besides all BR they are human beings like us and they want and searching for the same things as we all people do,doing also many mistakes, nobody is perfect ofcourse. I see them more from the philosophical side. Take a deeper look on their lyrics and their work all those years(also outside from the band)and try to see and understand why they still do what they do. As we all do our work in this life as a part of the whole,lets say universe, they also do their job in the way they beter can, playing this kind of music in their own way....they work for you and you work for them(if you are a fun) and all of us we work for echother and for the entire universe...but if somebody doesnt believe such crap then must listen again and again their songs until he/she get the deepest meaning of the existance of BR. Ofcourse everybody lives and makes his "own reality",i dont want to say that i see something more than you, but you can also get something positive and useful for your life if you get my point and if you really want.

I thought that was a funny joke. I also thought it could become their last album. Because it ends with a piano. And How could hell had a piano on it. (yes atomic garden too, I know that)

Blink 182 had a pretty big asshole in the band that more or less caused them to disband (i forget who it was, i haven't listened to them since when I first got Napster). I can't imagine them stopping just yet from what I hear of the album.
Besides, I remember reading Jay saying they'd save "New Chapter" for the next time around. It sucks that it won't be a b-side though, I'd love for there be a b-side from every cd from now on :(.

It's crazy to read everyone's opinion about the new cd. I think that it's the best they've put out in years. I'm enjoying it more than Process and Empire. When I heard the 30 sec. clips I wasn't impressed, but I love this fucking record.

I hate to say it but, putting the main emblem on the CD is one o-dem signs of the end. And I hate to use them as an example but like Blink-182's self titled CD was their last. I certainly hope not and it seems like they have a lot left but it could be a sign.

Grains of Wrath and Submission Complete are no redudant
I'm sure GoW will grow on you.
And listen to SC again... carefully.
Heroes and Martys is a standout.
The thing about the album is that graffin's voice could be louder and some songs more cleaner.

So THAT'S why I woke up hah. Thanks for not killing me. I completely understand the disapproval of leaks, because music is something that's a big part of my life. It's really all I want to do and all I've ever been alright at. I don't know how I'd feel about something I worked hard on getting released on the internet before it's supposed to. I will say this album is a major fucking inspiration. As the others have said, this is the best new BR cd so far.

Yeah Lost Pilgrim will be a nice Defining Bad Religion song.

Wow. Lost Pilgrim really surprised me, and might be my favorite song on the album.
The entire is amazing. From start to finish all the songs have their unique sound.

I'm going to say this is the best of the new Bad Religion...Because you can't really put anything after STF with stuff before STF since they kind of have different sounds....This is almost a mix of the Good old and Good new...It's a great album.
Prodigal Son is a nice song to me. I'm not all about the BANG BANG BANG all the time, so a little slower but still decently fast song like this is a breath of the freshest air.

I hate you all!!! AHH I didn't want to hear the CD before it came out lol. Like a kid in a candy store with a big sign that says "All free!" All I can say is damn.. Best album by far imo. Jay, if you're reading this I have several things to say. 1) Please do not murder me in my sleep. 2) I LOVE Submission complete. I liked what you guys were going for there, and you fucking pulled it off every step of the way. I can't say "PLEASE DO MORE LIKE THIS" because I know you can't force what you're doing. But yeah, try to do more of this hah. I like the time signature and structuring. Oh and for everyone else. Why all the hate on Prodigal Son? It's beautifully written. It might not be as "hard" or "Dark" as the other stuff, but it's another very well written song.

Brooks practically violated his drums in this album, he even does blastbeats on one part, the sound is awesome, the mix of the songs is awesome, Jay's bass sounds so fckin loud, cant believe it, i love this band, now i cant wait to read all the lyrics

AVOID the mininova torrent. Megaupload is in great quality. And yes, this is quite possibly the best Bad Religion album I've heard in years. Glad to hear Jay doing some more intricate basslines and Brookes is ALL OVER the place. Amazing. Fucking Amazing. And of course I'm buying this, so please don't yell at me.

Prodigal Son is a good song, but it's the weakest of the songs next to Honest goodbye. Thats not to say its bad, its just that so many of the songs kick major ass. Honest goodbye really doesn't fit with the rest of the album.

The album has already been leaked. What you are doing is slightly delaying the inevitable. You already went against Jay's interest when you downloaded the entire album. Don't start with this self-righteous BS.

It seems to just pop up from individual songs. I've tried being broad and typing the CD name, but nothing came up.

So a straight search for "new maps of hell" under that users name won't bring anything up, or do I have to do individual songs?

2.) Add the name, "xbloomx"
3.) Right click his name and scroll down to the 2nd to bottom option ("search for files in user list").
4.) Type in name of the song.
The song should pop up; however, expect a long queue time.

I still don't understand why no one has made a torrent out of this. Any BR fan will buy the album regardless of whether or not they get a leaked copy of the album.

How can it not be abused? It has been and will be abused extensively... The thing is, as soon as people start to get the actual CD someone will share it with a friend who shares it with a friend and somewhere along the line someone will upload it and share with a friend who will share it with a bunch of friends who will... You get the picture. It's a matter of time now until it appears on all major filesharing networks.

I'm not sharing it for the precise reason....i know many people are like me and just want to hear it and then will buy it (I'm buying 5 of them actually...for friends as well) but many people dont want to buy it...so I won't share it on soulseek.
