Even though the notes/lyrics sheet in the CD doesn't say who wrote which song, some how the line "immaculate ejaculate in space" makes me think Graffin was the one to write New Dark Ages.

Is it just me or it seems like they reduced the volume on their myspace player? Or maybe I listened to New Maps of Hell to loud these last days and Im getting deaf?

I already moved all my Bad Religon records one slot down on my CD hanger, so that New Maps of Hell can fill up the top place. (I put them in chronological order, with the most recent up.) But there's still an empty space there! *sigh*

nope, i havent listened to the leak or the myspace stream but i have listened to about 5 or 6 songs, and im totally pumped for tuesday. only a few more days!!!!

Wow I told myself I would wait until the album came out but I couldn't resist and I have listened to the CD 5 times today. I don't see myself getting sick of it any time soon either. Best songs: Grains Of Wrath, New Dark Ages, Dearly Beloved, Submission Complete

does it really matters who wrote what ? I guess if they stopped writing separate credits, there's probably a good reason...The album is great and i can feel Brett+Greg influence on most of the songs and that enough for me...

Is it just me or is Submission Complete like, 45 seconds too long? For like, a minute at the end of the song all it is is the guitar riff.

Although New Dark Ages and Fields Of Mars could easily be the other way round...

Fields of Mars was written by Greg. He said that in a interview long time ago.

Live Again (The Fall of Man) sounds like Sorrow too and was written by Greg.

Fields of Mars sounds like a Brett song, it kind of reminds me of Sorrow.

I first thought Submission Complete was written by Greg because it reminded me of Universal Cynic. After reading the lyrics I believe it to be a Brett's song, while Greg probably adjusted the singing melodies to his own style.

I cant believe Grand Delusion is the song with the least plays on their myspace! Its my favorite, as for now. Its also funny that the number of plays is decreasing as the album goes. Id really like to meet those who can stop listening to this album right in the middle of it, cause I just can't achieve that!

Amazing. I've tried so very hard to wait til' tuesday, but tonight i just gave in - and i must admit that i don't regret it for a second.
There really isn't a song i dislike on this album. I care for some over others, but none that i really don't want to listen to.
I will most definately be picking this up on the 10th.

The BR release is GREAT! I'm VERY geeked up for the whole damn thing and will be picking this up Tuesday before work. This is going to rock...I'm on track 3 at the moment, and can't wait to get this CD...

I didn't want to be one of those anti Honest Goodbye people as I generally love 99.9% of what BR has to offer... Personally, I think the album flows perfectly without it... I have a feeling that it will become an encore song or show ender just like Infected, and that really grinds my gears. Maybe they'll let me know ahead of time so I can go buy merch and leave before the rest of the crowd does!

Fuck. No sound ...no player ...nothin'! Oh well, looks like I won the Roadie Contest.

Who said that they sold the CD at Warped? Well, they don't in Canada.

For most songs I will have to read the lyrics to really know who wrote what. I was hesitant for New Dark Ages... topically it has this Graffin feeling, but the bridge is so Gurewitz-like (because we're animals with golden rules). It could actually be a collaboration! :)

If they were really against having it up for people to listen, they wouldn't have it up on their myspace. And if people are going to download it then maybe the band wanted people to hear it for free, from them.
If you aren't in the band, I don't see how you could really justify your own outrage at something so simple.

Well I see it as an extra step to download it instead of buying it. Because you're already behind your computer, all you have to do is go to a torrent site and download it in good quality.

Also remember the quality of the myspace player is alot lower than cd quality.

bullcrap statement. How many times do you see the same movie, over and over again? Indeed. You cant compare that with music. Such previews give a nice glimpse of what the album holds. If it appeals, people will listen the internet stream more often, but also get annoyed that they cant hear it in the car, or on their mp3 player. People will buy.

Boltzzman makes a really good point.

And since Epitaph is already selling the album at Warped Tour I think it is only fair to allow those who haven't gone (or will not go) to Warped Tour to have a listen, if they so choose.

It's a good way to preview the album before you buy it. I wouldn't call that stupid.

I've seen bands streaming new albums on myspace for a long time now. Morrissey did it last year. Anti-Flag (hold the verbal assault, please) as well. But yes, it is a great idea. I'm still going to avoid it until I have the actual CD, though.
