Warped: Charlotte, NC 23/07/2007

Bad Religion recently played the Warped Tour here in Charlotte, NC. They had a autograph signing at the MySpace tent, and I was first in line. Greg H, and Greg G were not present (they're plane was late). Jay had some fun with the MySpace bandana?s that ill-prepared fans received to have autographed. (I brought the new CD to get autographed.) Jay, Brooks, and Brian were great and I was able to talk with them shortly. I made it a point to tell Jay thank you for doing the Myspace updates on the new album. I'm glad to have finally met them. I later got Greg H's autograph after BR's set, however Graffin evaded me... I think he went out the opposite side of the backstage area. It's fine though, as I only got Graffin?s autograph when they played the 2004 Warped Tour... ironic how it?s reversed this time around.

Seems they're switching up the setlists pretty well for each show... I don't have a complete, exact list, but there were noticeable standouts and differences when I looked at previous setlists from earlier in the tour. They did a great job of covering material from the beginning of their career, to a couple songs off the new album. Of course, each was done in top-notch quality.

Anyway, feel free to check out my pics, nothing special compared to other peoples', but they're special for me. The concert was just as good as 2004's, if not better. Now if only they would show up in Charlotte to do a full concert...

For those of you wondering about booth signings, I just got lucky and my girlfriend happened to read the sign at the Myspace tent saying what time they would be there. I went to the BR tent earlier in the day to see if they had a signing anywhere and nothing was posted.
