Bobby did a lot for me as a drummer so I'll always have a lot of respect for him. Yeah he's not as technically proficient as Brooks but he's a good drummer, end of.

Bobby was only great on the Generator album. sure he was good on the rest but really, listen to it, the man needs to open the hats.
the first time i saw them live was on the New America Tour and it was hilarious watching him play. no offense but he seemed like an obese man(which he is/was not) who couldnt get his arms around the set.

Bob's drumming was solid, not over the top, and that's all you need from a drummer. Metronomic :-)

all I can say its Brook, Bobby and Peter have their own personnaly style as a drummers.
Anyway, each of this 3 drummers are better than all of you! and... better of dead and stranger than fiction ARE NOT song drummed by Brooks... kinda stranger than...Yeah!!!

Aww tommy did those mean comments make you cry. Too bad cuz compared to Brooks, Bobby fuckin sucks. He just did the same boring beats every time and was much too slow. Listen to songs that were recorded with Bobby on drums and then listen to those same songs done by Brooks live and you'll hear a huge difference. As for Brett's guitar playing I think it's a bit sloppy but perfect for punk rock and BR sounds that much more awesome with 3 guitars.

Brook's style is amazing!
Personnaly I prefer the old style like Peter Finestone during '80... He was awsome!!! But Brooks is a great drummer too!

Agreed! That was the problem even the beats brooks do are so much more complex if you listen with subs listen to materialist his kick pattern is complex and so perfect the song bobby played
the same beat for 4 albums I hated it luckily the rest of the music was amazing!

Bobby's drumming seems to be pretty much the same beats repeating through most of the song, but Brooks' drumming has more fills and stuff

Hey STEVENF back to our conversation bout brooks learning songs I'm telling you as a drummer and a big fan of bad religion I can play for you off the top of my head without music playing, more then 100 bad religion songs beat for beat. I'm telling you with the songs he has learned playing with bad religion over the last 6 years there first of all were not 50 songs that he hasn't played atleast once in those 4 sets maybe 15-25 and most those songs the structure is so simple you can bs the songs only have hearing them once or twice

they're good.
and i'd pay for a dvd live where the camera looked at brooks the entire show... he's so amazing...
