Update 10/19/2010: Lossless torrent is up on Dimeadozen: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=327335
On October 14th, Bad Religion played at the Kool Haus in Toronto for the fourth time. Our good friend Mike Clay - aka ComicSans - recorded this show and made a nice bootleg of it. He named it "War on the Weather" and he even made some great artwork. You can download the file right here.
This version is still in mp3, however a lossless version will be up later!
Better quality pictures are included in the download file
For a more visual impression of the show you can watch the video below in which a couple of songs are compiled by illrogenous:
Extra tidbit: Check out this Generator version for not one but two Rush covers!

No problem. Been seeing shows there for over 15 years. Great little venue. Nice work on the recording.
I wish all my live recordings had artwork like that... :S
Well, Brett, I can't say I can create artwork for every show out there (actually, where available I use the bootleg cover or poster artwork available on this site) but some time ago I did create a generic "bootleg" cover for use where applicable.

What ComicSans said, plus it's difficult to tell the difference with a decent enough mp3.

Lossless is usually provided as a flac file which can then be decoded (with any number of free programs) into the original .wav files. These are CD quality (or better) files, as opposed to mp3s which reduce file size by eliminating much of the sound data. So, basically, lossless are much larger files, but are the highest quality, "truest" version.
Most people will agree that (particularly with amateur recordings) lossless sounds better, but ultimately it comes down to personal choice.

LOL I listened to the show again at work today and I know what you are all talking about with the "Who Farted" lines.
Hahaha the show began with a blank white backdrop, which they dropped to reveal the TDoM banner as soon as Brooks comes in with the drums on The Resist Stance. Greg was directing attention to the banner and saying "Wait for it..." just before that moment.
Hope that clears things up!

on a more realistic level I'd just like some variation.
I think many people (especially on this site) would like to see some more variation, but I think it's impossible since they have to please everyone in the crowd; not only the 'hardcore' fans who are (in my opinion) often in the minority nowadays. The only thing they could do is having 3-4 completely different setlists and switch off between those every night (that's the only way people, who're going to multiple shows, won't hear the same set of songs every night).
I still like my idea of splitting it into two shows, kinda like a baseball doubleheader. And no one reacted to my awesome "Press 1" joke so I'm sad lol. But I wouldn't be against having a few different setlists, with a bunch of 'gonna be played' songs in between. Alk Trio does that
I do get your point. I just think there's ways to please both types of fans. I get that Sorrow will always be played...but maybe switch things up and make it an opener...give me some source of wonder and expectation. One of my main gripes is that the encore itself is always the same. It's like how PW plays Bro Hymn, only BR plays a couple more songs each time. There are other songs that could be replaced too..they've been playing No Control the song a LOT, they've been playing the song Suffer a lot, etc
La is burning is not played as often as Sorrow! But sometimes I ask myself, would most Bad Religion 'fans' be really angry if they didn't play all the hits? I imagine something like rock am ring 04 would happen, when that german group of people in the audience sang "raise you voice", and they didn't play it. Sure they must have been somewhat dissapointed, but I'm sure they were happy with 'punk rock song".
Yeah unfortunately BR will probably never play that song, even in places where it was a 'hit' or people like it
Agreed, nothing besides American Jesus (which had a 10 year headstart) gets played as much as Sorrow. I've raised that question too about whether Br fans would really be upset if all the hits weren't played..I say they wouldn't be..plus there are BR songs that are 'known' but don't get played..Hear It is one example
It breaks my heart but in two more years when they come around, I'm going to scrutinize the setlist and might not go. It's bad enough that literally half the set is going to be the same as the last time I saw them. I do get greedy and lust for songs that clearly won't happen, but on a more realistic level I'd just like some variation.
Flat Earth Society? This must just be coming back around. They NEVER used to play that.
I agree..this is one of the few that are different from the last time I saw them. For what it's worth it looks like they've been playing this one for this tour/shows earlier in the year.
As far as Los Angleles... goes they DID NOT play it when I say them in '07 in DC. They did play Man on a mission in '04 in Orlando. NICE. You do not always hear A Walk or Recipie for Hate at a live show. I have not heard No Direction played at a show since '94.
Interesting.
I got RfH last time. No Direction is cool. They've been playing Man with a Mission a LOT lately. But that's cool. See my big desire is for more varied sets..every encore is always Sorrow..switch it up, play like Man with a Mission then My Poor Friend Me, or something, anything different. Make me NOT use that time for bathroom/beer/merch break, lol
The rest is standard fare. The New Maps songs on this list are the good ones.
Ehh respecfully disagree, they're good, but I think there's better ones.
I am sick of Sorrow as an encore, but can't stop playing it on my guitar anyway. I would enjoy Cease as the finale if done full bore. It would have been nice to see them at NYC playing only the early stuff. Does anyone have that setlist?
The best BR albums are: Suffer, No Control, Recipie for Hate, Process of Belief, Empire Strikes First and Gray Race (honorable mention).
Yes, someone agrees with me on Cease!!!
But no Against the Grain? Blasphemy! :p

If only it wasn't for wanting my more casual listener friend who's going with me to see a whole BR show, and my principle of not leaving things I bought tickets for until they're over (pet peeve is when people leave ballgames before the last out or even inning happens). If it wasn't for those things I would honestly just leave early and beat the terrible parking at the lame venue that they exclusively come to in my city. As it is the encore is likely to be either a beer break or when I buy up merch like the good little fan I am

Good point. And I can see it:
Press 1 if you're a hipster d-bag that only knows popular lyrics because "all those other albums were meh" but "I really hope they play Sorrow, that's the best", you get tickets to the matinee for the popular songs
Press 2 if your bedtime is after 8:00 pm
When was the last BR show where Sorrow, Infected, or Los Angeles is Burning wasn't played?
Probably the ones right before LA started being played live..but there was always Digital Boy or American Jesus to put in that slot. Someone brought up the point elsewhere that it makes sense that BR would add songs to the repetoire as they made more songs (in other words, American Jesus got played almost if not every show after it came out...so would Sorrow and more current classics). But my response then and now is that BR has SO much good material..please surprise us, give us some wonderment and enchantment..there are SO many good BR songs and so many faithful BR fans

It's those fans that ruin pickrset by voting in numbers for Sorrow and American Jesus...yeah..like BR AREN'T gonna play those live when you see them..smh. Then again the setlist at Warped Tour is basically becoming "the dozen song encore/staples" that BR "has to play" at the live shows, so there's some overlap I guess.

I don't mean to complain, but why not put this up as a .torrent? sites like Rapidshare sucks, and they are so.. 10 years ago.. with bittorrent basically giving endless bandwidth , who would pay a monthly fee on a site like that?
Good job on the cover, btw.
Where is Brett in the video??
Is that sarcasm?
If it's not, then I should inform you that unless the show is close to his home, Brett will not attend the show. Nowadays, Brett is mostly just involved in the writing and recording process along with running the band, he doesn't have much to do with the live music.

great concert, Sorrow was amazing! everybody singing..I know what a lot of people think, bit I think sorrow is the perfect song to end
I enjoyed Sorrow, but I wanted to punch the kid beside me in the face. He was a total douche throughout the show, didn't know any of the words at all, but then in the triple encore of all the well known songs that a Justin Bieber fan would know, what do you know, he was singing along. Actually, I don't think he knew Infected, but he knew the other two.

if you take away the new songs from this setlist... what you have is a "wtf play something different" setlist.

I'm partial to CEASE, Dream of Unity, Broken, I Won't Say Anything...SOMETHING different...their is zero mystery in the encore...everyone knows it's going to be Sorrow. The only suspense is whether the other songs will be Infected then LA is Burning, or LA is Burning then Infected. Yes I'm exaggerating a little but my point stands

Didnt like the TDoM background...
the older ones (like from TPoB, TESF, TNMoH) were far more creative.
btw, all TDoM artwork - i dont know why, serously - but, it resembles Generator artwork, at least for me...
looks like they're suffering from a serious lack of creativeness... at least five or six songs from this new album sounds like other old songs... they're finally getting old.
Ah, and the artwork of this bootleg looks really greater than the album artwork...
