Bad Religion has cancelled their March tour. From Badreligion.com:
"We are very sorry to report that we have postponed the February/March mini-tour until later in the year. This is due to some last minute changes in our plans for the year 2000. It is ultimately a good thing because our new plans allow us to play more shows and reach more places this year than previously anticipated.
We are going out on two major tours in the USA this year. The first one, beginning in May, is a large-scale, festival type tour with Blink 182 as headliners and Fenixtx as openers. This will correspond to the release of our new album "Bad Religion: The New America" on May 9th, 2000.
After the May/June tour, we will do our own headlining shows for the remainder of the year. First, we are playing shows this summer in Europe. Then, we will return to the USA late in the summer and play most major cities again, as headliners of our own shows. We intend to play in Japan, Australia, and South America during late 2000 and early 2001. We also intend to go to South Africa for the first time during this tour.
All tickets purchased for the February/March minitour will be honored during this late summer tour."
