no, you misunderstood me.. i was specifically talking about the title, not the content of the song.

AoY is obviously not a musician, or at least one with much history. It is quite true that the title track is stylistically very similar to "21st Century..." but who cares. It's a good song nonetheless. It's not a blatant copy. It's merely similar in style. As for not mentioning "sinister rouge", who cares, its one the worst songs on the album anyway. nobody even knows what "sinister rouge" even means. supposedly its about all the shenanigans in the catholic church, but we only know that because it was said in an interview with the band. It is a good album. Calling the best ablum since Recipe For Hate might be pushing it.

If anyone sticks up to this guy, then think about this: The title track does not sound like 21st Century Digital Boy. It sounds much more like All Good Soldiers.

I see your point TootieHalo, but I still think it's not a great review. The reason is that I think the masses will like this album more than other BR albums, because most people who've heard it when I've played it on the computer think it sounds great. These are family members and friends of mine that are certainly not into BR. I like to think this album is easy for a lot of people to like. And by the way, as far as I'm aware, All There Is seems to be the song that has gotten the most praise out of all the songs, correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm right about this, you can't say it's a good thing that he doesn't mention All There Is. I also thought he'd mention LA Is Burning, because it's a single, but maybe he doesn't know about that since it's not released in the US...

Fook it, I'm going to stick up for this review. No-one else will. The review does mention the good songs on the album. Maybe the reviewer didn't think those songs were as good as the ones he mentioned? It's no different to you thinking 'All There Is' is one of the best songs on the album. It's an opinion. Anyway, this guy is a professional reviewer, he has to say what he thinks the masses will think so they can choose to purchase the album accordingly. Just because it's not what you guys want to hear does not make it a bad review. I don't agree with everything he says, 'No Control' is not their best album in my opinion. Maybe he shouldn't say what us die hard fans will like, but it's what he thinks the die hard fans will think. It's a review, an overly-pretentious form of an opinion. Don't get too hacked up over it. The review could have been worse - could have slated the album without giving any good points to it which he does. Anyway, don't flame me

Bad Rewiew. The guy forgot to mension some great songs like "Sinister Rouge" or "All There Is". Looks like he was just trying to find the worst sides in a good album. Fool.

Do you any of you all think that the album will become dated more quickly than other albums because songs like "Let Them Eat War" and "The Empire Strikes First" are overtly political rather than philosphical like the other albums?

He can have every opinion he wants, but who is he to tell us that longtime BR fans will hate it?

Okay, that came out wrong. I don't mean accept it as fair because I think it's fair, but accept the review as fair because it's sort of unbiased - it mentions good songs aswell as bad songs.

The review isn't very detailed at all, but it's not supposed to be. It's just a brief review. For a brief review, I don't think it's very bad at all. It's very fair. It just doesn't happen to agree with the majority of the BR fans, but the people writing this review are unlikely to be BR fans - they're trying to be unbiased. So, just accept the review as being fair, as I think it is.

PartIII your comment doesnt make sense, a review is ALWAYS one person oppinion, nothing else, nothing objective. just like every comment made here about how great the album is.
Whats a neutral person when it comes to judging an album for you, someone that likes the album or someone that wont say its bad?
take it as it is, a review of one person, that doesnt think this album is great.

I dont understand why he rates the album so low,
its probably his own judgement,
but you have to review a album with objectivity.
a neutral person can rate better
.
for me, TESF is better than TPOB!

"Longtime fans of the BR faith might christen this crew Baddish Religion."
What the fuck?? Everyone loves the new album as I've understood it... I think it's clearly the best since Generator or Recipe for hate. Definitely better than PoB!
