The Calgary Sun got an article about the karaoke phenomenon known as American Idol. ?Thousands of people clamoring for the chance at stardom only to be shot down like clay pigeons at a skeet shooting club.?
?If you had the guts to get up in front of Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul what tune would you choose to belt out in an effort to showcase your "talent?"?
Calgary Sun hit the bricks yesterday (19 January 2004) to find out.
The newspaper asks about 10 people what song they would choose and the first one out is Jason Harrison, 22: "I wouldn't choose a song they like. I'd sing I Wanna Conquer the World by Bad Religion."
The Bad Religion Page thanks Jason for not being as trendy as the others who chosen an Eminem or Christina Aguilera song.
