Um, wtf, Paige? Are you saying that Kerry's celeb supporters are not "individuals"? What are they, members of a collective hive mind, like bees?
Adam, the reference to the flat tax was a reference to the conservative's view that a flat tax, being inherently unfair, is a good idea.

well paige, i think i have that all figured out... generally, whether its easy to see at times or not, celebrities first started out as actors or musicians, etc. these are art forms. artist generally have the ability to think outside of the box and have a more open mind, a concept which generally produces more liberal results... people get into art because they see the freedom it represents. conservatism generally hinders freedom. so people who are generally capable of freer thought are usually liberals. its all that left brain right brain stuff... art and liberalism are often connected. also not so surprising that artists are usually the smartest people you'll ever meet. i don't necessarily mean books smart, but definitely more open to understanding the world.

Notice how most celeb Kerry supporters are very well known throughout the world, whereas the celeb Bush supporters are individuals, people haven't even heard of. Do I smell DEMOCRACY

Whoever wrote this blurb does not know what a "flat tax" is, as neither the Democratic nor Republican parties support the concept in their platforms. No major presidential candidate since Steve Forbes has proposed a flat tax.

Jay Bentley asked everyone the other night to "please send George W. Bush home (to Texas) in November."
