If any of you in Mexico want to be groupie-like, and get to meet bad Religion, go to the Hotel W, Campos Eliseos 252 Mexico City, 11560.
That is where they are staying.

Um, that's not ignorance, that's speculation. The politics of foreign countries have everything to do with American bands coming to tour. However, my main point was economic. It takes A LOT of work and money to put together a tour of Latin America as there are a lot of tax issues, customs, etc. for a money-making enterprise such as a tour. Pearl Jam actually just recieved a little flack from, I believe it was Chile regarding shows they played a couple weeks ago there. They were accused by the government there of keeping ticket prices artifically low to avoid paying a certain tax. It was later cleared up, but this is just a recent example of why it is difficult to shows like that. That's all I was pointing out. Get a grip.

Try to be less ignorant angry. What do politics have anything to do with doing tours. FYI, they came to Argentina twice in 1993 and 2001 and they were in Brazil like three our four times. Tijuana, it was only in 1992 if my memory serves and it was there that they first met Eddie Vedder backstage.

I would imagine they played Tijuana back in the 80s and early 90s when it was normal for bands to do so, but it's really hasn't been economically or politically feasible for bands to do shows in Latin America (well, to do tours anyway).

"llega por primera vez a M?xico"
is that really their first visit to Mexico? i mean, it's not like Mexico is that far from California, and BR already exists for quite some time, right?
