Atom And His Package is a one-man band with Adam Goren as the sole member. In one of his songs, "Punk Rock Academy" (A Society Of People Named Elihu; 1997), there is a line that says "We fired the guy from Bad Religion because he sold punk rock out". However, Goren explained that "the line is 100 percent tongue in cheek, referring to punk's overwillingness to jump on anyone and call them a sellout. I have no problem with Mr. Brett or Mr. Graffin. I certainly think there are way more serious issues to be concerned about than Bad Religion's record label."
