Mine has
On side one:
L-14125
EPI-BRLP-2A

On side two
L-14125-X
EPI-BRLP-2B

(tested putting a bright light close to the disc and looking close, no extra number, now I have no idea if it's genuine or bootleg)

LV97,

That's how I understood Brett's comment too. It would be awesome to get a hold of someone who was involved in the pressing of that album. Here's some production info from discogs.

Recorded at Perspective Sound, Sun Valley, California
Mastered at Goldstar Studios, Hollywood
Mastering company (lacquer processing) "Greg Lee Processing" uncredited on the release, identified by the matrix numbers (L-14125 and L-14125-X etchings)

Seems that this information is still missing in the Discography. http://www.thebrpage.net/discography/variation.asp?varID=271

So what we have so far:

... and our Discography says "-2".

-Mine says  ''-1'' both sides but is very faint.

We're talking to the Epitaph guys behind the vinyl represses (dates, quantities, etc). I'll add this new(?) ITU to the list of things to ask.

that one is a bootleg my friend.

this is the link you posted:

if you look at the second photo of the back cover, it names "greg guerrewitz" as a producer when an official copy would have "brett guerriwitz" listed.

on that note, I own this version (im 90% sure) and it is listenable. I cant compare it to the original (as Ive never heard an orginal) but the quality of this is good enough that you can enjoy the songs. It sounds like a cheaply recorded, low-fi punk record from the 80s (which is what it is so no complaints from me)

Yes. they are the same copy (looking at the photos from the link Priesterseminar posted).

I actually pointed out how you can tell this bootleg from an original in that exact Discogs page (under LanguidNTorpid)

"Greg Guerrewitz" is credited as a producer. An official copy would have credited "Brett Guerrewitz"

Damn, how could we have missed that?! :)
I've just compared the artwork and there are some more small differences; but overall, they've done a pretty decent job (not judging the sound).

We'll need to update the details on this item our Discography to make it clear for everyone how to recognize it... and not fall for it.

Yes, I racked my head trying to find a way to tell the difference. It was a little embarassing that it took me that long to realize, its so glaring.

I bought mine for about $25 (so I knew it had to be a bootleg). I actually own two copies of this (one from Germany and one I bought at Dr Strange Records in Alta Loma, CA).

Again, having never seen a real original, I cant speak to how the OG one looks...but these bootlegs are unnatually shiny for a record jacket. Super reflective. It's like the super glossy cardboard they use on cheap spiral notebooks.
