The best description that could possibly be given for this release is the one on the back of the box, so here it is:
“One of the most popular punk bands of all time, Bad Religion is finally captured on video in this documentary of the now legendary 1989 Suffer Tour. Taped in 14 European cities, the intense live footage is interspersed with personal interviews of the band members.”
That pretty much says it all. There are twenty-six tracks in all and three different interview segments where band members cover topics such as the symbol of the band, lyrics vs. music, and what they did in their off time during that segment of their lives. I like Bad Religion, I like band DVDs, but I am going to say that this release is more for diehard fans than casual listeners like me. The footage was cool, but honestly it was the interviews that kept me most involved. Along the Way is a great document of the band, and the footage and performances are filled with stage dives, sweat and punk rock ala 1989 by the one and only Bad Religion
