Synopsis: |
California punk luminaries Bad Religion released their sixteenth studio album, True North, in January on Epitaph. Now you can get an exclusive first look at the video for the album's title cut. It opens with a young punk in a room covered with Government Issue and Circle Jerks posters as he drops the needle on Bad Religion's new LP. After lacing up his Chuck Taylors, grabbing his drumsticks and bashing along to the song on his knees, our punk protagonist finishes suiting up and heads out for more rockage – waiting, of course, for the track to end first.
"'True North,' in many ways, is Bad Religion getting back to where we're from," guitarist Brett Gurewitz tells Rolling Stone. "The video tries to capture what that looked like for us and a thousand other kids – maybe even some kids today."
