Greg also uses a rapping style on "Can't Stop It"... That's just my observation.

Well, if Bad Religion goes back like 15 years musically, I wouldn't as hell buy the new record. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Suffer as much as No Substance and TESF, but I don't think they should devolve in songwriting and experimenting. The rapping part in Let them eat war is brilliant, and so is the Hammond organ in LA is burning. I don't think the new BR album should sound like something from the eithies, but something from 2006. There.

oh come on, don't start bitching about
"let them eat war". They tried something different, and if they do it again, i doubt it'll anymore than what they did on TESF in terms of having someone come in a rap, and it does fit the song, it's not like graffin himself decided to suddenly rap on 3 or 4 other songs, cuz that wouldn't fit at all.
a minor exception to this being that on Process, he more or less raps on materialist, spitting out the lyrics fast and it kicked so much ass. i had to be careful to sit down for a few minutes.
besides, if they didn't have that part, they couldnt have jay doing the rap, and getting guest rappers from the audience doing the part, in the end it's all good :D

neither do i, punkmusic.com is probanly speculating...i think rumours and speculations are absolutely normal in times that precedes a new BR album, the peoples become anxious to know some info...i remember that before TESF and TPOB it was the same thing...
i'm just waiting for my LATP, i had to import it, because probably our version wont be out before the next two months, and i couldn't wait too long to watch it out

I seriously hope they dont have any more rapping on any albums. "let them eat war" was tolerable, but I dont think I could stand anymore...ever. It just doesnt fit well with their songs.

I dont mind rumors, and yes, this one did say even "rumor" in the title, but generally speaking many of the headlines on this site are misleading. Why dont we leave the rumors for the discussion forum, and once they are confirmed news items they can be posted here?

Come on guys...there's nothing wrong with posting rumors. It's not hard hitting news, but this is a fanpage for a band, not the BBC. It's fun, and btw we don't have much real information so rumors are all we've got. Plus, it does say right in the headline that this is a rumor. So if you're not intersted in rumors, don't read!

This has been the influence of Neil Davis. He started all this crap a while ago. Stupid misleading titles and no real content in the piece of news.

Now you're just perpetuating rumors by adding this news story. Even if this was true, they haven't recorded one single note for the next record yet. Maybe there won't even be a next record!!! GASP!!! Take this down. Half the stuff on this site isn't even "news" just "gossip and rumor". I always get excited when I come here and see something like "New Record Info" only to get disappointed to find its something from a no-name website saying that "bad religion's new record has leaked even though they didnt record it!" or something equally retarded.

jesus traditional bad religion style? wow, i'm sorry but that's just kinda lame... okay, sure, traditional may mean "back in the day", so I suppose that would also encompass into the unknown, which, while is a great album, wouldn't be under the whatever a definition of traditional their sound is defined as.
I hope you think No Substance was good, because i remember reading that they wanted to re-capture some of what Suffer so great, and then all i hear is bitching and complaining when it comes out "omg its not like No Control OMGSZ SHIT", or some other rationalization that completley overshadowed the fact that it was still a good album.
If i were in a band, I'd make a Bon jovi cover album just to spite one member who proposed that b.s., especially the part doubting their vitality. Don't make scrounge google alerts for news, I will do it lol.
for the record, we're talking about Aerosmith amirte?

Personally, I think we should all be worried about how Bad Religion is approaching this album (musically)and how well a new album could compare to TESF. I, and many other dedicated fans to the BR legacy have a feeling there won't be much left in them to keep the band going for much longer. I just hope that if it is their last album, they plan on going out with at least a little style resembling the early, traditional BR sound. TESF was was nails. Let's hope they do it again.

Well that doesn't seem too wierd. A listening party would be pretty fuckin cool though. But you're right, all we know is that the new record is supposed to be released in September. And we all know that that could change.
