I get flamed for commenting on every story (though you can look at the last few stories and see that's not true), for using smilie faces and the acroymn "lol" in every post (also not true), and for posting my opinions (contradiction?). no, the brmb was shut down because a few people thought it was their right to be racist, offensive individuals, and the majority of people, while not participating, agreed (even if it was only supporting everyones "right"). that page became very destructive, there was nothing positive about it. anytime someone new came to check it out, they were promptly flamed. why allow that to happen on a page that should be a home to healthy discourse? even if it is jusy discussing everyday life and sharing ideas about how we all cope with it. the only people to blame for that mb being closed are the people who were there. i had said earlier that the mb was a small segment of real life, and it proved that no one had the ability to stop a small minority of people from controlling the entire structure of the sentiment of a bands mb community, and therefore the sentiment of the band and it's fans.
