The Aversion reviewer doesn't seem to be aware that a number of the songs he's criticizing as clich?d attempts at imitating classic American folk tunes actually ARE classic American folk tunes, not Graffin compositions. People need to read the liner notes when they review a record.

that's why they came up with it, yeah, but since then they claim it's taken on different meaning for them (a bit of a dodgy excuse imo). and besides, they were only 15/16 when they came up with it anyway.

Well said. But didn't Greg och Brett say that in the beginning they came up with it just to piss off parents or something like that? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Bad Religion are maybe the most misunderstood band and bandname of all in the world. Neither the conservative that's shocked by a crossbuster t-shirt nor the toughest-in-class 14 year old who's wearing it has really taken the point.

yep, screw the reviews, I'm still gettin' the CD and seeing him live and from what I've heard of this album it sounds good. Also, the reviewer said "Talk About Sufferin?? tries on a rootsy hymnal ? an odd choice for a man who?s gone out of his way to tear down Christianity in his other band" umm...listen to the lyrics, Greg has clearly not written a gospel song. And Bad Religion doesn't "tear down" Christianity, it just gets you to question. We really do live in a world of dumbasses.

NO OFFENSE TO ANY ONE...but
why do we care what the reviews say? it doesn't matter, let reviewers write what they are gonna, don't give em the time wether they like it or not
