Episode 15 – Cover Songs has now been posted. As the name suggests, this episode "covers" songs that Bad Religion has performed that were originally written by other bands, as well as Bad Religion songs played by other bands. There are even a few "bonus" songs thrown in for good measure.

Hey, at least their cover is better than Groove Coverage's 21st Century (Digital Boy) ripoff... Not that's a big feat, mind you. I'm STILL scarred from it :S Good thing you didn't put it on the podcast.

Yeah, Simple Plan probably should have consulted a lyrics website before doing that cover. The singer didn't seem to know some of the lyrics in the verses and the band didn't really know any of the background chorus.

Whoops, shouldn't have used a '&' in the feed. It should be fixed now. You may need to manually update the feed in iTunes (right click and hit update) to get it to continue updating.

I think he explained that he was joking... it just sounded like it. In his interview with Jay Bentley a while ago, Jay said he himself did not want to record it because thought it sounded too much like the kids aren't alright.

By the way, Shattered Faith is NOT a cover of The Kids Aren't Alright. It's jsut a coincidence that the chorus has the same sound as it.
