What was the best concert in Winnipeg in 2006? Well, the Dropkick Murphys/Bad Religion show was rated # 6 by Winnepeg Sun.

6) Dropkick Murphys @ MTS Centre (Sept. 25)

Saddled with the opening slot on a hardcore double-header, these Boston-based miscreants delivered a booze-fuelled blast of Celtic bravado. In fusing anthemic punk-rock with pub-worthy antics, they also totally showed up Bad Religion, whose by-the-numbers headliner set was anticlimactic.
