the amount of what could be called "internet addiction", although it's actually less of an addiction than utilizing the internet as a source for maslow's hierarchy of needs instead of using offline life, is pretty amazing nowadays. forums, chats and such play a big part in it.
well maybe when we create transporters, online friends can become offline friends :D.
btw, in the refurbishing process, please, please make sure news people who add news understand the concept of deleting old mail and ensuring repeat news isn't posted. its getting redundant lol.

Yeah, of course I remember you, Bad Brett, those were the days indeed. And I imagined you would post some commment after I brought up the old board. Brett Religion was from Argentina, trust me on that one ;-) The one from Brazil was Sad (Barney avatar). Bed Religion (Flanders avatar) was from Spain and Blacklight from Texas, don't remember if it was Austin or somewhere else. Didn't g00y come from Poland? Of course there were a lot of Nordic BR fans like you, Anamorphosis (from Norway), HellDiver (with his "Sucky sucky five dollah" signature and the Krusty avatar) or Danishcake (from Denmark, go figure) who would always complain about not having seen BR live... Yeahhhh, memories, I guess it doesn't last forever... The discussion subsequent boards could never raise the bar.

Gurgy was one of few girls and believe it or not, pretty good looking.

no there will be a general login system so you don't have to write your username everytime you write a comment. the forum will be...i don?t know if better but atleast faster.

Perhaps after this new layout we will no longer have the stupid anonymous posting system.
And I don't think the forums are that bad. They could be better, but I've seen much worse.

The main thing that should be focused on should be a new forum, with a lot more general sections. You know, like BR talk, general talk, etc.

I'm all up for it. It's about time this site was refurbished. I hate the forum layout and that's why I have never bothered registering there. It's so cold and uninviting. Oh Brett (=God), I miss the very first message board (and my Simpsons-related avatar) so much!!!
