Weezer-like at first listen of course..thinking "what the -new maps of- hell are they doing?". After few listens of course it sticks in your head! Play it loud (perfect bass from Jay)! Simply amazing! Poppy but still AMAZING! As all great BR albums (except Suffer of course :-)) NMOH has a slow poppy song.

No one has commented on how extraordinaryly-well this song as sung. Greg sounds awesome and the back-up vocals are excellent, as well.

"it would be insanely small minded to let the simple dislike of one song ruin the entire album. I don't like a good portion of new america, but that doesn't prevent don't sell me short and you've got a chance from kicking ass"
Spot-on!
And as strange as it seems, this new (un-)official version almost sounds LESS polished IMO. All the reverb from the earlier version is gone, so it doesn't sound as multi-layered, pompous and overproduced, Phil Spector style, but more like the 'typical' BR production of the last two albums, with slightly enhanced oozin aahs.
Jay may kick some asses for putting it on Megaupload though, haha!

The radio version is from a stream, so it's all compressed to hell. This version has a much higher bitrate, and as such sounds richer, deeper etc.

anyone got the chords for this song? I'm not really good to play by ear, so if anyone can tell me the chords for the whole song, I'd appreciate. thanks!

If anyone cares and can't wait, here is a rip of the myspace source, much better than the previous radio steam:

Really good track... Although I might be a tad disappointed if this ends up being my fav dong on the CD (I doubt it, cos I think Heroes & Martyrs sounds better)
Personally, I didn't think much of it at first, but slowly found myself singing along to it in my head. Now I really like it and think it'll sound even better in the context of the album.
Its BR, whatever style Brett of Greg write (i.e. fast/slow) it always ends up being as catchy as anything out there.
Cannot wait till July!

Awesome, thanks a lot for giving us the album version. It is indeed a lot better qualitywise than the radio rip.
Anyone else noticed that badreligion.com is updated and now only redirects to their myspace? Or has it been that way for longer? I just noticed it now...

you didnt notice any differences? you gotta be kidding me, the drums are way more clear, guitars are richer of sound, and it doenst skip during the first "whoah whoah" part.

i didnt notice any difference in this version but its still a great song, i just think its a mistake releasing this song first. It might give a lot of people a bad impression on the album.
