I am NOT going to see them if they play Requiem.
You're starting to become a pain in the ass. What happened, did you accidently spit out your comforter? I guess nobody would notice your absence at a BR show anyway.
Here's my 13 track setlist:
01. Stealth
02. Part II (The Numbers Game)
03. Part III
04. Part IV (The Index Fossil)
05. 52 Seconds
06. Yesterday
07. Today (Smashing Pumpkins cover)
08. Tomorrow
09. The State Of The End Of The Millenium Address
10. A World Without Melody
11. 52 Seconds (reprise)
12. The Dodo
13. Lose As Directed
Pointless? Damn right.

The best set list for me so far is SIGH?s set list... But i will pay a lot to see UMPIRE STRIKES FIRST?s fantasy set list with all the Pink Floyd atmosphere. Some people wrote down fantasy set lists almost like the same ones the band do every year, that?s funny, i?d say...And Marc, I hope Greg only sings Beyonc? in a fantasy set list :)
Here?s my fantasy set list in correct order:
1. Progress (very good song for intro!)
2. Strange Denial
3. Grains Of Wrath
4. In Some Many Ways
5. A World Without Melody
6. Land of Competition
7. Victory
8. The Voracious March Of Godliness
9. To Another Abyss
10. Too much to ask
11. Markovian Process
encore
12. Evangeline
13. Pretenders
I am uploadind more six bad religion covers in my channel in youtube this week, if you would like to take a look. This time it will be:
BEFORE YOU DIE

The crowd is stewing, the tension building...then the announcer would come on and say "you wanted awesome, you got awesome, the bestest band ever in the entire universe.....BAD RELGION"...then BOOOOOM a huge explosion, right into:
01 Turn on the Light
02 Leave Mine to Me
03 Land of Competition
04 The Hippy Killers
Then the lights dim, the lasers come out and the bust out he full "Into The Unknown" album front to back:

06 Chasing the Wild Goose
07 Billy Gnosis
08 Time and Disregard
09 The Dichotomy
10 Million Days
11Losing Generation
12 You Give Up
Then I'd float a big huge pig over the stadium...no wait...I'd make it a rhinocerous so that Roger Waters wouldn't sue the boys, and bust into:

Beat that!

i would be for all for a fantasy setlist but i always remember that interview where jay explained the whole live set thing... honestly, if i were ever in a band it would probably be similar in only playing certain songs depending on certain things.
that being said, this is what makes hunting down and making bootlegs all the worthwhile: getting those rare lives of rare songs played live. I honestly think there should be more cover bands for BR to be there to play more obscure songs from the albums. If I were in one, I'd probably play a bunch of NS and TGR songs :D.

If they could only play 13 songs, I would go for something like...:
Heroes And Martyrs
Requiem For Dissent
Honest Goodbye
Sinister Rouge
Atomic Garden
Generator
Evangeline
Struck A Nerve
Recipe For Hate
The Handshake
Better Off Dead
1000 More Fools
What Can You Do?
Basicly, the songs they almost never play with a couple of popular songs. Plus the 3 from the new album of course.
Good choice but I think U forgot your own song!!! Well Do you like your song???

That is not true. At Warped 2004 when TESF came out they only played two new songs at the show I was at: Sinister Rouge and God's Love.

I was at Ventura yesterday. The pits were small and sporadic and gritty. Even I, the great immovable object, got knocked around some. But still, it was a good time!
Oh and FYI, they are selling New Maps at BR's own tent for $12, but only for $10 at the Epitaph tent (with a free t-shirt). But the BR tent has free stickers and NMoH announcent cards. Buttttt the Epitaph tent has a limited number of NMoH posters for free, that I managed to grab a couple of.
Ciao.

Here's what you have to remember about seeing BR at Warped. They aren't there solely for the long time fans. They only get 30 minutes to play, so it would be an insult for them to say that the set was for the fans that have been there since the beginning. Warped is about finding a new audience and giving the kids who have heard of BR, but never seen or really heard them, to give them a try. Maybe a kid is like "I've only heard a couple of their songs on the radio and I want to hear more." So they check out BR at Warped, get caught up in the crazy pits, sing along, and also probably recognize another song or 2 that they didn't realize was BR, and hear something new they really like. That kid is more likely to go pickup some BR records, and maybe attend their full tour later on.
That's the intent of Warped. If you go only wanting to hear 1 band, you're wasting your money. If you go to try out some new bands, get some cds, and get free shit, then you'll have a good time.

That kid is more likely to go pickup some BR records, and maybe attend their full tour later on.

i would totally love to see them play Along the Way. that'd be the best 90 seconds of the whole show.

Actually, it isn't. There are pretty many people who don't like TPoB.
I would rather have them play the entire NMoH, with Brett for BGVs, plus their usual songs. Now that would be a sweet show.

I'd like them to play more songs off the new album, 'specially since they're selling the new CD at the booths now.
What I've noticed, they seem to have Social Suicide as one of the staples of Warped.

they only have 30 minutes to play and they have to play infected, american jesus, 21st century and sorrow because they're their biggest hits...
believe me, i would like to see a different setlist, especially taking off honest goodbye, recipe for hate, supersonic, 21st century...they should playt generator, live is awesome, and include come join us, the defense, let them eat war or modern man

Hey, I know that we've seen a similiar setlist loads of times, but no matter what way you look at it, these are all great songs.
If you don't like it, don't go.

Yea this just made me go to get merch and leave. Ill wait for the solo tour to hear the same lame songs. This is the first warped tour with an album release they didnt play more than 4-5 songs from it at. I have a feeling its because you CANT play these songs live due to over mixing and synths. gooooo warped .. and goooo br for using the same lame setlist you have for the last 3 tours. Get to the rare shit.

I expect they'll be including Requiem in every Warped show since it's their contribution to the Warped '07 CD. They did the same thing in '04 with God's Love.

I count only 3 greg songs...social suicide, requiem for dissent, and recipe for hate...i always hope for half/half, but lately its been all brett..to see all the same songs again and again every year is disappointing to fans of br from yesteryear, and makes me want to see them less.. but to new fans its got to be a great show

"Terrible set list!!! i can?t understand why they insist in the same fucking songs everytime!!! "
Yeah, I have to agree. Hopefully they'll change their set list around after Warped. I'm tired of hearing Infected, Supersonic, Ect. Wish they'd play more Generator/Suffer stuff.

It's a standard warped set, nice to see Requiem though. I can't make it this year (the toronto date falls on my anniversary) so people get out there and record!!!
