How is "Social Suicide" an early song?? And how is "Supersonic" mid-career? This guy really needs to do his homework!

i've been to probably 40 br shows. in actuality, the other mics are always turned way down comparatively to the mix and greg's voice. i agree, they should bump those mics up just a hair.

bullcrap, I played about 5 new songs for a crowd last friday with my band, and it went perfectly. Not that nerve wrecking at all, even with our little stage experience. Besides, its impossible to screw up the chords on this song. Brett just doesnt move much at all, generally. I agree that Jay gives the most effort in the backing, I just dont understand that there werent any oozin aahs... especially with brett on stage.

Yeah, completely agreed. But other than that... awesome performance... can't wait to see them live on stage again.

Does anyone else think there's a lack of effort on the live background vocals? Jay seems the only one to even try, Brian does it kinda half-assed, and Brett looks like he's just trying not to fuck up the chords. They do shout "RE-QUI-EM!" but on a song like this I'd hope for them to back up Greg a bit more. Other than that, it was pretty damn good, although the stage seemed crowded.

Note that "The Empire Strikes First" on the setlist of the Mountain View show is a mislabel on the recording shared at Dime. It's God's Love which they played...

Yea, Requiem wasn't at all bad for a first timer. They are getting better with Honest Goodbye too.

wow, amazing job being the first time they played that live. brett was a little off... i think he was concentrating too hard on not fucking up on the guitar.
