Haha... I wrote the second review. It was really annoying too--they always replace hyphens with commas, so it looks like a super long run-on sentence. Man... I probably should have signed up for writing next quarter.

Sucks cause some of the users post up worthwhile and earnest reviews, columns and lessons. They should strike against management :D.

AND! This is one of the best albums of the decade, if not, the best, especially in terms of punk. The reviewer's use of the word punk was completely self-centered as well, probably shrouded in his tendency to think punk follows some strict indoctrination and that, somehow, Bad Religion defied it by writing "Honest Goodbye." He's obviously no fan of punk or Bad Religion.

I enjoy the rip on Greg Graffin's 'intellect'.
"The thing is, Graffin has also penned lyrics odious of a child trying to rhyme, ?Everybody, is a bastard, our world is like plaster?. It may sound intellectual, but believe me, it isn?t. It?s original, but boring nonetheless."
The Reviewer wrote that sentence as if Graffin felt he had to "pen" those lyrics in order to defend his intellect and then made a failed attempt to do so. It's obvious that the reviewer has no concept of 'perspective' other than his own, which, right there, should disqualify him from a job scrutinizing any poet or songwriter, for one can't simply read a line of poetry or lyric and be able to discern the "intellect" or influence behind it. What a fucking bastard.

you know what? i want to hear them play some of their own music! they talk shit about eveyone else's and ive yet to hear any of their own!, i say that each person who gives a review should be required to be in a band, that way we can listen to their band, discover that they like PIECE OF SHIT music and dismiss anything they have to say about anyone else's. particularly Bad Religion's.
they're a bunch of stupid people with sticks up their asses if you ask me.

Maybe these reviewers haven't actually listened to the album and are just rewriting another review. That would explain alot.

Like I said, UG is mostly full of fakes. If it weren't for a portion of the users creating & submitting content, it would be the most worthless, music industry PR site in the guise of something useful ever.

At first I thought this guy tried to be clever and funny at the same time (= this song is an 'Honest Mistake'), but he obviously is just a tool.
And I am sick of all these Offspring, Green Day, Pennywise, Strung Out, No Use For A Name (...) comparisons. Kids, Bad Religion were the forefathers of this kind of Ramones-on-speed songwriting and sound, so who copied who...?

You all know he's calling it "An Honest Mistake" because he's a disrespectful asshole, right? He's doing it on purpose. I don't care for the song much either, but if you're going to review an album at least use the correct song name. oh, and apparently the band's "live energy has been captured"... think he mentioned that enough?

Holy cow, that guy that kept calling the song "Honest Mistake" is a complete fraud. Does he really believe Graffin is the band's only song writer?
The author should be culled before he rapes another album with his poorly-written reviews.

I really get the feeling that some of the reviewer either
a) only heard the 30-seconds samples on Amazon
b) pulled something out of their ass
c) accidentally listened to Empire *coughtimesleadercough*
Otherwise, I can't even fathom where they get some of those lines from.

Looks like the UG reviewer has been listening too much to "the bravery" he cant even get names of the songs right. Anyhow, after listening to Bad Religion for more than 16 years I think this album is great!! you can definetly see their evolution without loosing their originality within their own style...I hope BR makes 10 more albums!!

At least the second reviewer new what they were talking about. The first... well the word 'mistake' doesn't even appear in that song so I don't know how they got that name. They seem to be naive and to have missed the point, Bad Religion don't do songs about religion being bad, that would be such a cop-out.

What's this "An Honest Mistake" song that the first reviewer keeps yammering on about? I'm guessing he's confusing it with "Honest Goodbye", but that doesn't really do well for his credibility for the rest of the review.
