The funniest part of the night was when Baker said "I'd like to thank my friends and family for coming... for free." Then just to rib him, Jay goes "Redskins for everybody?" to which Brian kind of winced and shook his head as if to ask "Why?" The Redskins lost to Green Bay earlier in the day. I knew someone would mention it. Funny stuff.

My favorite part was when I started yelling out for them to play God Song next, and then Greg said "this next one you don't get to hear very often, it's called God Song" and I about shit my pants with glee (sorry to everyone in the pit with me!) I also have not moshed that hard since I was about 17 years old.

Thinking about taking my little RCA recorder to the show today in Boston, but I'm not certain...I want to be upfront, but I might need my two hands for holding on to the barrier for dear life. Hmm...I'll see.

Oh my god, that was awesome. Can't wait for the Eurotour and I sure hope they pay Scandinavia few visits too. My friend is going to the show in Boston tonight, I'm soooooo jealous.

I can't wait for them to come to Europe! Hopefully they'll have the same kickass setlist. Wouldn't mind a few more rarities added but I have to admit that the set is pretty damn good.

hmm... it is tempting to go, i'd have to of course get tickets :o. I'll consider it and see if I'm doing anything else this week...
that's another thing the show had: good banter, the fall out boy bit was great, however the blue oyster cult part will forever be on the top of my banter list (fall out boy tied or 2nd place). |

the dc show WAS AMAZING!!!!! I was right in front of greg hetson against the post witch was awesome !!! The only bad part is that every thing in my daily life now sucks compared to that, and I'm distracted at school all day , thinking about the show and how I can't wait till the next va/dc show. they were so good I'm actually considering going to europe during summer vacation when they tour just too see them. I cant wait 1 year(or more) to see em again ( I know I sound selfish but I cant help it)

I was there @ the DC show.
HOLY. SHIT. That was seriously the best fucking setlist/show ever. Oddly, before we left for the show, me and a few friends were wondering about which songs they were gonna play, and a lot of them ended up being played (I was very surprised they played Lookin In, and was hoping they'd play God Song). My only regret is that my mp3 player got stolen at the show :\. :bum rushes the bootleg: |

http://flac.sourceforge.net to decode flacs into wavs. You can also find a plugin from winamp to play them as they are.

I had so much fun last night that I overslept and missed work today - woops! This was the best show I have ever attended; the set list and the performance were phenomenal. The band even seemed to be in better spirits than I have seen before. It was good meeting you Mike, thank you for these phenomenal recordings! I wussed out and put my camera in my friends car because I didn't want it smushed, and I was definitely going to be in the pit, so I couldn't chance it. Hearing God Song was the highlight of my night. I'm beat! Now to go see them on Saturday night in New Jersey... :)

Awesome, thanks for posting this! I love that slow version of Generator; the way they build up to the main body of the song is almost unbearable (in a good way).
