alex jones you are a clueless, self-assured idiot. if you even bothered to look into anything RP stands for, you would easily realize he is not a typical politician. The ignorance you display, not to mention close mindedness, are just a few things that others sadly share, in which in the end helps keeps things the same and prevents change. no he is not the lesser of two evils, and for anyone to still analyze politics within a limited, two party system needs to grow up a little before they can be taken seriously.
oh I love it when people get all crazy when you have an opinion about their favorite candidate! thank you for amusing me so! I am pretty sure that you don't get involved at all you just talk a good game. I don't want to grow up because then I'd be like you, how sad.

I heard the tambourine about the fifth time I listened to the song, what I'm more curious about is that there is a photo of Brett holding a triangle to the microphone in the NMOH recording session photos, and I can't hear it in any of the songs on the album! ... Any ideas?

Again, if you are or anyone else for that matter, is completely lazy, apathetic, cynical, close-minded, ignorant, naive, then yes; I guess you and/or anyone else would have to put in some sort trust into your state politicians and prey to whatever being you hold sacred that they don't screw you over. Or, you could get involved, and be the complete opposite, and make things change and work for you, being involved in the process to ensure people don't screw over your rights as an American citizen.
also, yes I do too also hear the tambourine @ the end of honest goodbye. even for an audiophile, i admit it was a challenge to hear it ;D.

It does suck to feel an impending election coming after eight years of george fucking dubya bush (who even most republicans are ashamed of by now) and seeing no chance of anyone progressive or insightful coming to power. Looks like anarchists are gonna have to regulate on yet another administration no matter who wins :)
Now let's get to discussing other matters, like why America among modern countries is second only to Turkey in percentage of citizens who do not believe in evolution! And why do half of Americans believe that Jesus Christ is literally going to return within their lifetime? GET REAL, YOU FUCKING DOUCHE-BRAINS!

American politics is disgusting; everyone involved has dirty hands. The worst thing is the showmanship - it seems to be more about popularity than actual policies. Mind you; Clinton or Obama would be better than Bush. Some sense of peace may return to the world..
Sadly, British politics is little better :-(

Again, Ron Paul would not make a federal law making either abortion illegal nor legal. He would let us decide it at the state level. WE would be deciding, and to make a federal law either for or against abortion wouldn't constitutional, despite my own personal views that it should be legal. I guess if something isn't easy to do, it isn't worth fighting for, is it?

Yea, I turned over to the dark side temporarily as well to vote for him; although if he doesn't get the nomination and runs as third candidate, I guess we'll have to switch again :| . I'm also planning to pitch in a ben franklin or 2 on nov. 5th.
But yea, Kucinich would be a great compromise, I might pitch in some cash for him when he gets the amendment to impeach Cheney forced on the table on nov. 6th.

I personally love Ron Paul -- I just registered as a Republican to vote for him int he primaries (something that I don't think my mother will ever forgive me for) He's the only candidate that makes sense to me. (still, I love Kucinich, even met him once..)

Well duh. I think we're familiar with Guy Fawkes.
But did you know the mastermind behind the gunpowder plot was a man called Robert Catesby and not Guy Fawkes?

Also, Ron Paul is personally pro-life, but would let the states decide on the issue, so I guess letting us on the local level decide about abortion is too much responsibility for an issue that isn't the government's business anyways. He also sees & correctly views how public schooling is pretty much failing us (US High schools are dropout factories, google that phrase for an article), and it was in decline even before no child left behind (which, certainly didn't help at all lol).
Essentially, if you read into him, I suppose if American citizens didn't want to have more control over their lives, more responsibility, their entire paycheck (since income tax wouldn't be there, however, there are alternatives to income tax that both parties ideally wouldn't want you to know about), didn't want to stop continue having wars or conflicts for oil, didn't want more constitutional freedoms & personal liberties, then yea, I can see those citizens would dislike or be against Ron Paul.

It's actually not shocking once you realize that both the democrats & republicans are raping our constitution: democrats with increasing government size & social programs, furthering dependence upon the state and decreasing the individual's ability to depend on themselves and overall accountability on both a government and citizen level, & the republicans wanting to increase government size alongside corporation rule, eventually breeding a big brother fascist police state with the advent of the executive branch gaining more power. Of course, the democrats are also corporate as well; corporations are all the electoral rage nowadays.

It just so happens that November 5th is also Guy Fawkes night here in England, so there'll be plenty of fireworks. (Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605, but was discovered by the guards, which was lucky)
