Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease let there be a Don't Prey on Me Graffin/Gurewitz duet!
But seriously, any of BR's catalogue will be brilliant.

That makes sense. I think Brett believes in something, but he's just not sure what.

AA and its offshoots are Christian organizations in that they do espouse a submission to God to overcome addiction, however an individual has only needs to acknowledge a higher power that works for them. The group tends to call that the Christian God, and a lot of meetings close with the Lord's Prayer. Someone like Brett only needs to understand that he is physically powerless to conquer addiction and that he must have the help of something stronger to defeat it. What he chooses to turn to is up to him, and the group never questions or judges that decision. It's a truly non-judgemental group that's 100% about support and 0% about evangelism. I think everyone should experience that in some way, it's really eye-opening.

I'm happy for Brett's sake. But isn't NA (and all -generic- Anonymous) a christian organization? Seems odd to be a member of that, seeing what he writes songs about etc. There's lot's of non-confessionalist (is that a word) movements like AA and NA out there...
Ok, I'm definetly NOT racking down on Brett for "choosing" NA, just a bit peculiar.

you NEVER stop being an addict. even if you've been clean for 30 years. it takes almost nothing to fall back down again. i'm sure NA helps to remind him of that.

John: Brett is a member of NA. Do you know what purpose NA has in former addicts life? I'm taking it that you do not. Well, it's a support group that helps Brett stay clean. The fact that he's attending his 1,459th meeting is great and Brett should be proud and him listing that on his myspace means he is proud.

In one of the interviews Mr. Brett did(the one where Graffin was supposed to be their but had a really bad fever) the host asked if Brett and Greg could come in some time and do some Acoustic stuff, and Brett said yeah.
It's possible these could be related, but probably not now that I think about it.

Joe (Barresi) has also produced TESF, so that's pretty likely.
@Ryan: We're moving all the sutff to the Answer Wiki and it's planned to integrate it once we've tranferred all stuff. Check it out here:

If I could, I would put in the NMOH section myself, since it is becoming a bit funny that we don't have one yet for lyrics.
But omg, I hope they release an unplugged cd. Holy crap that would blow my mind. It would be even more insane if they did one of the follwing:
1.) unplugged cd of NMOH (I think i would finally like prodigal son if it were acoustic, although haven't tried this out myself yet...)
2.) unplugged singles cd (would be interesting, but would probably involve a glossing over of NS & TNA a bit)
whatever happens, this news is just another story that reinforces how much BR kicks ass ;D.

Can't wait to see what this stuff is.
By the way... There's really no good excuse for this site not having New Maps of Hell in the songs section yet.

A new "American Lesion/Cold as The Clay" album? A reissue of NMoH? Something else? Who Knows? I'm curious.

If they're recording it, presumably they have plans to release it. It's much too early for them to already be working on demos for the next album.
