So Bad Religion isn't doing any touring during the spring and it had us all at the BRPage a little confused, considering that they always tour... unless they're writing of course. So Puka came across this little website, and it shows exactly why they're not touring. Greg's just a little busy with school (I think I say that every couple years...when's he gonna' get out of academics?!).

He only actually has one class. The first one is a Lecture, led by him. The rest are discussion sections, mostly led by Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs). Probably 200-300 students, all he has to do is write the lectures and the tests. The tests will probably be scanrtron, so grading is easy and one of his GTA peasants can do it. It's really not as bad as it seems.

Yeah seriously Steve, Greg should totally quit BR. And damn do they never play LA shows. I mean they're only playing one show tonight! WTF! In the HCHBAW days they played 5 shows a night and never ever played the same songs.

This is a bit off topic, but did anyone see the BR poster in Superbad? I just got the DVD yesterday. I didn't notice it in the theatre, but It's right before that early scene where Joules asks Seth to buy the alcohol. As he's walking down the hall, a poster from The Empire Strikes First can be clearly seen on a school door in the back left of the screen...
Probably is cut out for any idiots who watch Full Screen movies, but for the artistically intelligent, you'll catch it if you just look for it. |
