To mr. punker... yeah the best indication of how BR has it RIGHT ON to me is their international fanbase... the guys tap so effectively into something so universal... lots of bands have fans all over the world but I dunno, it just seems different with these guys...

This looks like Bad Religion once again try to tell the world the awfull truth that most of the ignorants try so hard to avoid. I consider Gregg and Mr. Brett two of the best philosofer of our era, and for those people who judge a book by the cover like those people who puts Bad Religion as Satanics or some nonsenses shit I urged them to study those lyrics well, I am a true Bad Religion Fan so I know this new cd it wont let us down.

The picture on the Process back cover looked like a wicker man to me... I won't bother trying to remember the mix of history and myth I've heard, so just look it up in a dictionary or something...

Yeah this one looks like it could be great, but nothing compares to Suffer. Process shocked the bejesus out of me two years ago, so this will be as good, but it won't have nearly the impact on me like Process.

Now that you say it, that really looks a bit like Hetson, it just might be. Anyway, it really doesn't matter who it is... As far as I can remember STF is the only album that featured the band on the cover so...

It's funny -- I feel the same way as many of you when reading the track list, and it's definitely a different feeling than when I got preview information of past BR albums. The titles of these songs seem so biting and relevant...like usual Bad Religion, but more sharp and refined.
I'm always excited for a new BR album, but my feelings for Empire Strikes First are much more heightened than anything I've felt previously. I can't wait.

Actually Rudy I think the drawing on the back of TPOB is an actual drawing from the 16th century or something...I'm not sure exactly what it's about, though. Maybe about burning heretics or the Inquisition? Anyone happen to know?

Fuck I can't wait... I don't want to feel like that so I won't get disapointed if it sucks when I listen to the music... but the titles and the cover art is too old schoolish to have crappy music inside.
Just something:
13. Boot Stamping On A Human Face Forever
Is that just me or this could be an ERROR song title.

Insane.
That immediatly came to my mind when, not only reading the title tracks but seeing the album cover as well. I think every BR fan can, just by the track titles and cover feel that something special, more than the usual amazing album BR makes, is going to happen when "The Empire Strikes First" is released. Something feels different about this, but it's good. I think this cd will have the biggest influence a BR cd has had since Recipe For Hate and Suffer [RFH considering the lyrical relevance to today's events, Suffer how it changed the punk genre forever along with it's now trademarked lyrical mindfeild of intelligence in every BR album.
I can hardly wait.
