That is cool that you can have a newfound respect for infected. but of course anybody who hates one of graffins solo works hates him as a person, duh.
br needs to take a fan poll and ask which songs should be retired. but that won't happen becaue I understand the fact that without the so called "hits" half the audience wouldn't buy tickets.
I so wish for a day were everybody at a br show isn't just there for the 4 songs they hear on kroq. so that the other br gems can be heard live.

Now I have to hate Graffin? Man, it's hard to keep up with ya'll's expectations of me! Which actually sounds like something Graffin would say...
Interestingly, I too was quite burned out on 'Infected' live, but then on the TESF tour I appreciated it on a different level, being able to sing "you and me have a disease, you affect me, you infect me" along with the band and have it be about the fan/band connection rather than anything else. It has a nice communal vibe to it. 21stCentury Digital Boy can take a hike, though.

Ha, thanks guys, I knew this'd be interesting. Especially when one person's worst song is loved by another. I personally love the shock value of Follow the Leader. It's just so weird. It's BR's Revolution #9. I don't think Stealth counts as a song. HCHBAW is awesome all the way through. Some of those songs may not be great individually but they're awesome as a whole. New America is by far the one with the most bland, uninspired songs. The one song that gets my vote for worst song is... New Leaf.

Worst is of course Punk rock song german version. But I do hope they'll put out an B-side album. It's a shame if a song like 'Who we are' shouldn't be given the chance to reach out to a greater deal of earths population.

Mr. A I love that video but those songs are still totally whack. The 'Suffer' material is what makes that thing. Dammit BR, why oh why did you leave 'What Can You Do?' off the setlist? Thank you for playing it in '95 though.

Better Off Dead? Bad? For f.. sake!
Everybody who isn't too fond of Bad Religion's very early recordings should check out the "Along The Way" live video (or a bootleg CD with the respective audiotracks of the video), featuring stuff up to and including Suffer. These vintage songs sounded great back in '89.

Ha! Johnvicious you have 3 songs from 80-85. I'm with you dude, I never ever ever put that record on because I find most of it to be unlistenable. Sure, I own it and there's like 5 good tracks on there, but to me that thing is a completist exercise only. A few years later BR is blazing trails for everyone and kicking soooo much ass, but in the beginning it's just same-old same-old.

So I guess nobody has ever heard "Follow the Leader." Not only is it one of BRs worst songs, it may be one of the worst songs ever made in general.

I don't hate on ITU, it is what it is, same as HCHBAW for that matter. They're just early BR oddities as far as I'm concerned. 'Cold As The Clay' is pretty bad, though.
ok.
Five, in no particular order:
Television
Hippy Killers
Dream of Unity
I Love My Computer
21st Century Digital Boy '94
Yeah, those are all pretty bad but it's still kind of tough to make a list like that.

Out of curiosity, whate are the other 4 songs in your worse 5 BR songs ever, W! ? I'd actually like to know what everyone else thinks too. Top 5 worse BR songs ever, comercially released, excluding ITU and Graffin solo work.

Anyone who didn't recognize Tim's voice in "Television" needs to pick up a Rancid album from their local CD shop.

I predict Lars Frederickson describing the new album as the most punk punk record any punk ever heard, and a video with Nicole Ritchie's baby in it.

Also hopefully there aren't songs on the album like "Stand Your Ground". That's probably my least favorite Rancid song.

@greg - i upped 2 other shows to your account from 2000 and 2004, but they're not in folders bc i can't figure out how to make a folder. hopefully you can throw them into folders.
everyone else, check out the uploads - a little less confusing than the sharing club gmail accounts...just delete the 3 spaces from the url at the bottom
