I dont subscribe to epitaph anything anymore, they spam my mail far to much with other than BR stuff. The link you gave does nothing so ill assume you just got an email or something? if this really is true.. it would be odd.. I hope all my dates arent the same!

Of course they'll play rare songs at shows where we most likely won't be getting any recordings from...

In an unprecedented move, Bad Religion decided to create themed setlists which will feature material rarely performed live and focus the night?s performance on a particular era from their long and legendary career. While the band is not announcing which set they will play which night, they have said that they will be concentrating the shows on the ?early? years, the ?classic? years, the 90s era and the work from recent years, in addition to incorporating their most popular live songs into the sets each night.

I would be going to the 29th 1st 2nd 4th and 5th shows but someone on ebay ripped me off for the 29th show tickets(now who knows if ill get to that date)
Im having problems with hotels that dont cost 900$ for 3 days.. doh. (I want my 29th tix darn it) and no I dont plan on even taking cameras.. im not chancing getting kicked from a show I went to LA for.. maybe our paths will cross matt, if even lived near LA id go to every show this tour, doh!

Err so did they frisk you down at the Las Vegas HoB, Steve?
I think I'll try to at least bring my MP3 player which is not obviously a recording device.

i'd have to agree with steve on this one...getting a recording device in any venue (yes even warped) in america sucks. you can thank 9/11 for all that....hob is no different. to anyone wishing to bring a recording device/camera: good luck. they will frisk and check and make you throw it out. if you get one in great, i'm super happy for you, just make sure you share the love and pass it around.
i'm going to feb 29, march 4, 5, and 21. when is everyone else going???

i live in la and i've been to the both HoB anaheim and sunset strip aka hollywood dozens of times each. i just went to the hollwyood one the other week and security was just as tight as when they first opened it (which is frisking plus metal detector/hand wand).
HoB anaheim is my absolute favorite venue. it holds about 500-700 tops, super intimate and cozy. anywhere you stand in the place, you have a good spot. the hollywood one is a little bigger, perhaps 1000-1200 people. anyone going to the hollywood one should get there abit earlier than usual if they want a good standing place because it fills up quick, especially for bad religion. i've seen bad religion at both HoB venues several times each and fuckin awesome at both. again, i prefer the anaheim one cause of the intimacy/small knitted club setting. plus it's right next to disneyland (literally) and parking is free. the hollywood one has parking on the streets and in lots, but it's usually like $20. rip off.

Lets just say ive seen bad religion ALOT, and out of the insane amount of shows even cameras are never allowed. Some of the olden days and a few random dates the clubs didnt even search us (slims first day no one even checked anything but tickets, second day they frisked you like the police) I have not been able to record a single show ive been to even warped stripped me of my devices. Kinda stinks in usa. As for HOB ive never been to LA's hob.. only one in FL and one in LV, both I would consider small venues(not tiny) compared to the say Sacramento arco arena 17,317 tickets, sold NOT including standing room which would be a large venue/festival size. (br never has sold those shows out in my experience)
also the reno shows ive been to (except the pioneer) never sold out. Both frisked as well... sigh usa!
Anyway I never said HOB wasnt good or wouldnt be, again I as just shocked it hasnt ALREADY sold out all the shows(I know that it will)

Steve, do you think it would be difficult for me to get a recording device into a HoB venue? Do they search you before you go in, or just give you shit for taking lots of pictures? I can, with reasonable effectiveness, just keep the recording device unnoticed in my pocket, but if they search through my pockets before I go in I'm a bit of a situation.

How is that downplaying anything? BR is best in the small clubs! Im just stating that vs the 10,000 people at a festival its not hard to sell out a HOB venue. Trust me small clubs are the BEST for br.. you obviously misunderstood me. I am just saying im shocked all the shows arent sold out already is all.

oh please steve it's a big deal because I love the band and I want them to stick around as long as possible. why take this away by down playing it as not a big deal. I don't care if it's a big place or not. it is still good news. duh.
