Lol yea the on broadway thing haha.. they actually did alot of improv in or between the songs.. brian actually wailed old classic rock notes while still playing the br songs lol
Ill update the 3-2 setlist and shoot up the 3-4 BTW this is my second time hearing news from the front live! greg lied saying it was their first time playing it hehe, but he still rocked it.(didnt get the words right either time though.. doh) jay mentioned a hint that he might play eat your dog at the next hollywood show by playing the first few strums of it on the bass and saying we could come back and play this.. they were on fiyaaaaa |

its insanely hard to get ANYTHING into hob to record or photo ... PERIOD.
This is actually all livenations' fault its not just hob.. its 75 US and 42 international venues! jerks... aw well the staff (at least some) are super nice. Others are not.. grrr I cant name names but I could draw a rough picture in ms paint! lol pssttt a birdy told me there are a few songs from the hobs shows (not entire sets but whole songs) not sure of the quality though.. ill keep you all informed. I do know there was tons of people with phones, a guy behind stage with a vid cam and an interview and aftershow party for the march 1st show(which was the most full anaheim ever got in the 3 days I was there) They refused access to the upper and lower floors!! feb 29th was almost empty in the vip area above odd methinks! AFTER SHOW PARTY SAD FACT I could have stayed for it but left for my wifes and good friends sake! please dont kill me! |

Last night (march 5th) was incredible. Basically same setlist as the "B" night from Anaheim. Flipped a couple songs and the band really seemed to have a great time playing these classic songs. Greg talked about Brett Farve retiring and how the band will follow next month which was a joke by the responce of rest of band. The accoustic songs sounds sooooo good. These need to be uploaded. Brett playing with the band adds so much. We are so lucky in LA to see him. The ooz and aahs, and extra guitar on songs like generator, anesthesia, etc, and solo on Sorrow really add to a Bad Religion show. Great time, fun mixed crowd, and cant wait to see "c" and "d".

So does HoB not allow cell phones in or what? I cannot imagine any place being that strict. What do they do with all of the people who bring cell phones? And I cannot figure out why no one has at least gotten some cell phone recordings.

i made this point several threads ago to all the people endlessly complaining about a lack of recordings. how many hob bootlegs are there? as far as i know, ONLY TWO in how many years since they've been there? so judge...from whatever country you're from, i'd bet your standards for venues are not nearly as stict as our least strictest one in america (if you even have shows in your country). i went to the show, they told me to empty everything out of my pockets. even a cell phone, wallet and keys, they still looked at each item carefully. then they wanded me. then they pat me down. excuse me but it's pretty fuckin hard to sneak a device in when they ask what kind of belt i had on and it was a dressy belt..then asked me to show them. so please don't hate...i don't want it all...i'm happy with my gifts and blessings in life. take your hatred and go somewhere else, or do something about your complaining |

Ok, TheJudge, explain why theres nothing on youtube, and theres only a couple HOB bootlegs in general. The HOB has a very strict no recording policy, so its not just as simple as bringing in a recorder. They would have to sneak it in.
How about you fly from wherever you are, go to one of the shows, and record it. If you do that, then feel free to call them a disgrace. |

setlist for the first hollywood show, tuesday night, was identical to the one played on 2/29 in anaheim. br substituted fuck armageddon for recipe for hate, removed let them eat war and replaced it with drastic actions. nonetheless, fantastic show...there seemed to be more crowd participation and enthusiasm during the acoustic setlist. i'll post tonights set list when i get back.

Last night in Anaheim they did not play 21st century digital boy... they ended on Sorrow.... they did play Along the way.... they opened up with Fuck Armageddon this is hell, then new maps of hell, just like the previous night... Both were great shows, the 2nd anaheim show was perfect and flawless, and this one had no chance of living up to the amazingness of the previous night, but it was still very enjoyable and a good set... missing from the setlist is also No Control, Do What You Want...thats all i can remember from right now

I don't remember the H.O.B. having a strict "No Pictures" policy before this show so any photos we see popping up are either gonna be professional quality photos or really crappy camera phone, same with video.
Hopefully someone can pull off a nice soundboard recording in San Diego or L.A. or Vegas, Anaheim's pretty fucking locked down. Damn Mouse. |
