Hmm yea Its odd not to hear Broken at least... I was thinking that earlier. But no sub and new america are atlantic label... so is grey race but its the good atlantic album so brett let a few slide (he hates all of those albums esp the grey race.. I assume due to the fact he wrote nothing and the band left label)
So far almost every setlist has been different, even if they just re arrange the set. Hope a dvd does come of this.. I happen to know all the shows did have HOB cameras on em except the SD and ventura shows(I saw no cams at ventura and didnt attend SD nor will I attend LV)
Keep an eye out in LV

It has no point to keep arguing about the setlist. If I was Jay right now I'd be pretty mad. We should all be thankful for the themed setlists. I'm sure BR knows what is best to play. I am a very big fan of the new america and the process of belief. But hearing those bootlegs, I can see why they don't play You've got a chance or Broken. Those just sound better on the album (with good harmonies) I am just glad I still have the opportunity to see them in June.

Well they should obviously keep playing classics, but rather not ALL in the same setlist. It's good to please everyone, casual fans (some hits) and hardcore fans (some songs that dont come up often). Personally I'm tired with Infected and Suffer even though I've never seen them live. But I wouldn't mind if they play Infected at a show if they also play News From The Front for example.

I of course love to sing along songs like Tiny Voices, You've Got a Chance (totally fuckin' awesome), Parallel, Anxiety and blahblahblah but who cares. I still loved to hear No Control live.
And yes, some people bitched about them playing to much new material in Helsinki 2004. They played nearly 30 songs and what 10 of them were from TPoB and TESF. So I don't agree with the "play 12 songs of the album" either.

As a fan who lives in Scandinavia it's very hard to me to understand why they should drop Infected/Generator/American Jesus. Yes, they should play some rarities and these themed set lists are very cool. But seriously, they're not playing for the guys who listen a bootleg of the show afterwards. They're playing for the people who come to the shows. If BR were so nice to play a show in Finland (AFTER 4 LONG YEARS OF WAITING) I think most of the people would be dissapointed if they wouldn't play most of these songs: American Jesus/Digital Boy/Infected/Punk Rock Song/Generator/No Control/Atomic Garden/Do What You Want/Fuck Armageddon...
Before the show in Helsinki (2004) me and my friend talked about what they would play. My friend said to me "but hey, they will play at least American Jesus and Generator, right?". And I would consider my friend a fan of BR. When seeing BR after a long time / for the first time most people just want to scream their lungs out with LIKE A ROCK...

Yes, that's basically what I'm saying Paulo. But Banjo, I never said to not play the classics like American Jesus and the ones I listed, that's why I said the casual fans don't complain they play those songs every night. It'd be nice if they dropped some other songs that they play besides those (No Control comes to mind...) and replace them with different songs we never hear. That would be good.

I agree with you that is very difficult to change set list drastically every night. But they should change a lot their set list when a new tour comes on.
For example: on "New Maps of Hell tour" they should be playing like 12 or 10 songs of that record every night!! And on this tour they could skip "Recipe for hate", "Infected", "Generator" and some other classics for a while for example...(why not?)
When the new album come, they should do the same, playing 12 or even the whole record and play different songs from the other tour.
And there?s another thing also, I?d say. The band members don?t get tired of those classics every night?
I agree that the "theme shows" are fanstatic!!!! But still, there are more than a hundred fantastic songs they never play live!! why?
Thanks to everyone who?s leaving comments here and on youtube for this song. I made it for the fans ;)

But even hardcore fans like myself who due to geographical constraints havn't seen BR would want to hear the "classics", even if it's just for the first show.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that they're playing varied setlists at the moment, and I wish bootlegs would be more varied, but for my first BR show I would want it to be the classics and some other ones, to get the full BR experience. :)

Let's face it, BR is never going to keep changing their setlist so drastically over night. They have so many shows to play that were lucky they are even doing the Themed setlists right now. I wouldn't expect songs like Strange Denial or You've got a Chance would become a setlist standard (Although that would be awesome). BR needs to cater to their casual fans as well as their hardcore fans. The casual fans probably don't complain that they play songs like Infected, 21st Century Digital Boy, or songs like that every night.
Although yes I do wish they would drop some of the other songs that they have been playing for a long time and replace them with different ones that they never play. It probably won't happen though at a normal non-themed BR show.

Haha nice one, that's a funny song, very good ;)
To carry on the hilarious jokes, maybe when the band "Hear It" they will have an "Epiphany" and play some different songs...
