After travelling to the city, we encountered "The Grand"
Bad Religion said this was the first time for them at this venue. The venue was GEORGOUS more appropriate for an opera than a punk rock show.
Show was hot, Pit was more violent and crazy than I've seen since the late 80's.
The whole Fat wreck crew was there. Fat Mike sang with Graffin on Digital Boy.
Pretty much the same set list as Brazil, but unless they played Modern Man after sorrow then they didn't play it.

SAN FRANCISCO SETLIST: k I am trying to remember based on memory. Oh yeah setlist isthe exact same as the brazil festival show. Greg graffin did do a lot of talking which was very entertaining but even with all his talking set was only 1 hr and 20 minutes long! Very disappointing. Good points. Ballroom was only half full all through the second bands set. Once bad religion was on balcony was packed and floor was wall to wall. The pit from my view was more intense than any of the house of blues shows I attended earlier this year. They played well everything sounded great. During first song (21st century digital boy) fat mike of nofx came out and sang for a minute then as he walked off greg jokingly ssaid (security!) very cool. Anyway good show just wish they played more songs.

It doesn't have to be as good as madreligion says. I'm happy with 640x480Xvid or something. I am not going to dowload 4GB for a not so unique setlist. But sure if someone stores the original recording in that format it wouldn't harm anyone.

a dvd recorder isnt optimal for this one, cause those do a conversion of the video and even if you have a digital source like satellite, dvd recorders usually are connected analog. what you need for this is a digital receiver recording the stream directly to hard disk or a pc build in tv card that does the same, best over digital satelite, cause it offers the best bitrate, i think digital cable can have a lower bitrate, but i am not totally sure about that. those recorded streams can be played by most dvd players without re-encoding and comprimising the original quality, although there are exceptions, cause its not dvd standard.

I don't know if "aldi" in your country sells this. But in Holland they sell a USB stick for 20E. you can put it in your tv or vhs and it can make the signal digital and than you can use your computer to put it on a dvd.
