In this very last episode of the Bad Religion Podcast I give thanks to the band and everyone who listened to the show. I play a bunch of songs, mainly focussing on songs I particularly like.
Songs played:
Cease (Lorelei 1996)
Don't Sell Me Short (Hard Pop Days)
American Jesus (Peel Sessions)
Delirium of Disorder (Suffer Live)
Won't Somebody (cover by Spidey255)
Tested (Go Bang 1997)
God Song (In the Zone 1998)
Change of Ideas (Demo)
Surface of Me (B-Side)
Fields on Fire (Demo)
Billy (Demo)
Parallel (In the Zone 1998)
Along the Way (Escalarre Valles, Spain, 1996)
Chasing the Wild Goose (studio version)
Fuck Armageddon This Is Hell (Seattle Sessions, 1998)
Thanks for listening, everyone!

I think during the interview he said how it was pretty much just an untitled song that they played once.

Oh, I think I've got a question for ikillkenny. I might have the wrong Jay interview, but I remember someone asking Jay about "Greg's New Song" played at the Galaxy Theatre, and Jay didn't recall it, but the interviewer said he'd send the .mp3 to Jay or something. Was that you? And if so, did you find out any more information about it?

yes thanks a lot for making the podcasts! I really liked that you gave your own opinion about songs and albums. And the interviews were really really great. I was sick of reading/listening interviews with Jay with the same questions about the band name and greg teaching. You asked questions like "why don't you play (...) anymore?" very direct and cool for the hardcore fans like us. And another thing I liked was the background info on songs before you played them. So thanks a lot for everything!

I regret that as of late, I haven't been very active with the site & various BR stuff, as the podcast ending only furthers such regrets :( .
It's great to see an official ending though, rather than the podcast just being vaugley left alone like many other projects on the internet collecting dust.
I enjoyed the podcast a lot, & regret further than I didn't end up hanging out with ya at that one Baltimore show (although I don't think you went either, so yea lol).
Personally, I think one of the best moments of the podcast was covering BR related controversies & the nice long Jay interview I listened to one morning with a few cups of coffee.
The bootlegs were also icing on the cake, & I also have to credit the podcast for renewed appreciation of bootlegs.

Who wouldn't want to have Infected played at their wedding? A lovely song about an abusive relationship is just what a marriage needs to get it started off on the right foot!
Thanks for the podcasts Mike. They exposed many of us to the beauty of bootlegs. If I had known this would be the last one I would've finished up my new Badger Legion parody for it.

Wow, she wanted Cease played at her wedding? That's pretty funny. I'm not sure, but I think Mr. Brett had Infected played when he got married. I think that's like the single-worst BR song to be played at a wedding, haha.

Banjo, good job! I can't wait to hear them after you've "cleaned them up". A friend of mine got married a couple years ago and she wanted someone to do a piano version of Cease to walk down the aisle to (quite humorous I think). I guess I know who she should have gone to.

Hey, I managed to create some music-only versions of some Greg Graffin songs. They're not perfect yet, but I'm going to clear them up so you folks who can't play piano (like me) can sing your own versions with Graffin playing, lol. Check them out and tell me what you think:

Can anyone guess how I did it? :D

Thanks for bringing the show to closure Mike. I've already listened to all of them at least twice, but I will probably listen to them again over the years. Congrats on graduating and scoring the job. Good luck in the future.

Minnesota, he got a full-time job in Seattle and doesn't have time to do this anymore.
Mike,
It's good to know you're still alive and well. Good luck on your new job in Washington!
The podcast was great for the 2 years it's lasted, and the Vegas show we met up at was probably my favorite Bad Religion show I've gone to so far!
~Tom
PS- Just wondering, what is your new job?

Aw man, that really sucks that this is the last one. Thanks so much ikillkenny for your time and effort making these, it's the only podcast I've ever listened to.

ah, that's too bad. if i had to guess, maybe lack of interest and/or material. i think we all agree bad religion is truly superb, but there's really only so much you can say.
as a suggestion mike, maybe users who would like to see it return can create a list of topics, songs, etc that they would like to hear/experience should a bad religion podcast "reunion tour" occur. (if in fact the issue was lack of material)
