In case you haven't read about it during the past week, we've decided to not only rewrite the 'History of Bad Religion' but also to rewrite all of the current and ex-band member profiles. Last week the first profile was published: Lucky Lehrer.
This week it's Brett Gurewittz's profile that has been made available. Again, enjoy a good read and let us know what you think!
On a different note... During the past week thebrpage gained another 66 new users. And no spam! :)

By the way, thanks, Marty! That's what I call proactivity! The only problem I have with that, though, is that you might have people reading back former comments and being puzzled by others referring to some Dogbert that they will not find anywhere... ;-P
The line ''In 1989 Brett married his former wife Maggie'' is confusing and it makes it sound like that was the second time he had married her. You should drop the ''former'' bit. Other than that, it looks good to me.
By the same token, if you leave it at "Brett married his wife Maggie", some people might think Maggie is his current wife. Maybe the simplest solution would be to stick to "Brett got married for the first time" without mentioning anyone's name or "Brett married Maggie".

Meteoro, have you met the man? How do you know Brett sucks "as a person"? By reading his Twitter entries? :rolls eyes:
Ana, please, do the rest... FINISH HIM (à la Mortal Kombat)

Brett is like Maradona. As a professional (guitarrist and song writer), he is genious, but as a person, he sucks a lot, it is not an example for a punk rocker kid.

According to uncyclopedia.org the only reason it is "The Offspring" is because the band thought the word "The" was awesome.
Shouldn't "the Offspring" be "The Offspring"? Just to make the profile perfect..
well...I didn't really know which name I had to use, 'cause the 1994 record says "Offspring" while other records say "The Offspring". I decided to stick with the name written on the record...and if I'm correct the same name ("Offspring") was also used on the very first Punk-O-Rama record. So what do you think? Keep the 1994 name or change it to the current name?
