It is May 12, a very special day in Bad Religion history, as it is the birth date of Mr Brett, co-founder of Bad Religion and songwriter extraordinaire. In the name of the Bad Religion Page and everybody who frequents it, we wish you a lovely birthday and many successful and fantastic years to come!
If you have always wanted a peak into the creative process that was the recording of The Empire Strikes First, we have good news for you! Brett's Flickr page features a never previously released photo set of the Empire recording days you should not miss. Check it out!
Like the pictures? Want more? Even though we can't offer any further studio photos, you can find a few pictures of the show at the Pipeline Café in Hawaii on April 4th, shot by Luckyme015. He has also shot quite a few clips which you can view on his Youtube page.
Last but not least, Brooks is taking part in a new one of his numerous side projects. The experimental rock band is called Fear and the Nervous System and was started by Korn guitarist James Shaffer. Go to the official website by clicking here.
awesome Brett Religion but i don t understand the passge, when lars talks about the number 1 punk rockers i don t understand very well, what lars said iiin ths sentence??
Lars said: "...being in Bad Religion, being a number one punk rocker supremo...". Usually the definition for supremo is "someone with great authority or skill in a certain area". So basically what Lars is saying is "Brett is the best".

Guys, you might want to update this piece with this Rancid Webisode on YouTube that shows Mr. Brett producing their new album up at George Lucas's Skywalker Sound.

You can definitely hear the violin in Atheist Peace, especially when you'll use a good headphone. Think the best part is between 1:12-1:26 when it fades out into the guitar. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they also used the violin to 'back up' the guitar in the parts between 0:07-0:12, 0.35-0:40 (not as clear as the others, but during the "comes an atheist peace") and between 0:43-0:48. I'm pretty sure about the last one of those three since it sounds so smooth.
So we have proof that there really is a violin in All There Is. Real question is where is it?
In my cd booklet it says that the violin is on Atheist Peace. I can't really hear it. But maybe it's the part after "from the faith that you release comes an atheist peace" weeee weee weeeeeeee weeeeeeeeeeee
with some distortion, but it also sounds like a guitar
