Epiphone
A couple of days right before the Warped Tour took off Epiphone Guitars decided to catch up with Jay Bentley for an interesting interview about the band's history, touring, being influencial, and of course guitars. So if you always wanted to know which guitars are used by Jay on stage, don't hesitate to read this article!

Guitar Hero World Tour
Last month we already reported that 21st Century Digital Boy was included to The Rock Band Warped Tour Pack.
Right now we can confirm that there's an Epitaph Punk-O-Rama Track Pack, which includes Bad Religion's 21st Century Digital Boy, NOFX's Linoleum and Ruby Soho by Rancid. The track pack is now available for download for Guitar Hero World Tour. So purchase the track pack and pick up that guitar, the drumsticks or just the mic and lets have some fun with your friends!

Brett's future career?
We all know that Brett's pretty creative, not only when it comes to music. After his cameo in the Man Man's video "Rabbit Habits", we recently found out that he seems to have some kind of ambitions in the gaming industry. His good friend Gore Verbinski talks about it in an interview with the LA Times:
"Right now, about 70% of our ideas come from in-house. There are a couple pitched to us that we really responded to. My good friend Brett Gurwitz, who runs Epitaph Records, came with a pitch that we found fascinating and put into development. Game designers do come to us. Right now we're open and listening, but also not waiting for ideas to come from the outside."

22nd Century Analog Caveman
For those who don't follow Brett's tweets on Twitter, here's a link to an interesting remix of Bad Religion's "21st Century Digital Boy" by The Leg Lifters, a new project by The Locust's bass player and vocalist Justin Pearson. Brett seems to be really stoked about it...so what do you think?

Greg Graffin's TV show
Last week Greg Graffin also found his way to Twitter to give everyone a sneak peek into his life. His very first tweet sounds more than promising:
"2010 goals: new book, new album, new TV show. Right now: work toward each of them whilst on the Warped Tour. [...]"
We already knew about his new book, we also knew that there is going to be a new record next year, but the TV show seems to be something new. We don't have much info on it and at the moment we can only show you a funny picture of Greg at the Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge in New Orleans during something what is called the "Punk Professor shoot".

Congratulations to Brett and Gina
And last but not least, The Bad Religion Page congratulates Brett and Gina with the birth of their daughter Nico Moon Celeste Gurewitz, born on July 4th at the UCLA Medical Center.

I disagree. I think Jay is just a nice guy who said some nice things about it. I have both an epiphone and a Gibson. The Epiphone is pretty good, but it's not as loud and powerful as my gibson. So yes, if I replaced the pick-ups it would be good enough to use it on stage.

While Jay certainly endorsed the pricing that Epiphone offers, especially for early musicians, he was showing off both the original version and his chopped up axe. I don't think the branding matters to Jay as long as it suits his needs, and Epiphone knows it may as well get some publicity out of a notable musician. Now they just need to release the Jay Bentley Signature bass.
Jay makes me feel silly for setting my sites on the Gibson Thunderbird IV.

The press article about Jay and Epiphone sounds like one big advertisement to me. I'm not certain of that and it's not any accusation, but this all thing is quite strange to me. If this is truth then I don't blame him. After all we all have to live from something.
I'm looking forward to see this new TV show of GG.

I'd say the show is about Greg visiting interesting places (in his field of work) and him doing interviews. So in the pic it's Greg who's being led around that wildlife refuge.
Should be interesting to see how the show turns out.

yeeh! It would be fun if Greg would become an actor. He can be the new James Eckhouse or something. But my guess is that it's probably an interview on some evolution show.

Hmmm.... the TV show seems cool. At one look at the picture I say it'll be interviews with Graffin about his time with BR and at UCLA because of the way the guy is interviewing him. Sorry, if this comment doesn't make any sense, my brain's not working normal today.
